"We had a great time at this house. It was a last minute getaway for my wife’s birthday. Debbie the property owner contacted me immediately after booking and made the process so simple. She even bought my wife a cake and left in the refrigerator for us when we arrived! The house is awesome and it is an awesome location. Would absolutely rent from Debbie again. I highly recommended this property anytime of year."

"The property was clean, checking in and out was easy. We wish we would have known that the bedrooms were as small as they were (the bed is too small for two adults), more blankets on the beds would be good too. Also, propane tanks were empty as a result we couldn't grill or use the outside fireplace (that was a bummer). However, would consider renting it again!"

"For a weekend away it was perfect. The property manager was great with questions. Like we had issues turning on the stove top. And he walked us through it. Only things I wasn't a big fan of the pictures of the basement make it look tall it really wasn't. Perfect for kids area or short adults."

"My husband and I stayed for our anniversary love the cabin very nice and clean the area right in the woods. We arrived early before check in cabin was ready and J phoned owner she said as long as the cleaners are done you can go in, that was great cause I feel a late check in you actually waste a day. Thank you will recommend"

"We stayed here to celebrate birthdays and Mother’s day. The house was clean, gorgeous and nicely decorated with natural wood features. Took pics for myself to go shopping 😃. The hosts Nathan and Kara we awesome, they made sure we had a smooth check in and was available right away if we had questions. The kids enjoyed the lower level space - it was equipped with a huge Tv, games and foosball table. The parents got to have their private space and enjoy a nice dinner in the dining area. Overall...

"My husband and I spent the weekend at the Elwood Escape for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the set up of the home and we spent a lot of time in the back yard by the fire pit. We took advantage of the hikes and were able to bring our small dog with us. We also loved that one of the restaurants/bar was across the street from the home and were able to walk to the location. Over all we enjoyed this nice quiet escape from the city."

My family and friends had an incredible time creating amazing memories together. One of the highlights of our trip was the fun we had getting our endurance up by going up and down the stairs to the lake. "We had a great stay for my daughter's 16th birthday. The house was exactly what we needed for our family. The game room was awsome!! The amenities that were offered were great would definitely plan to stay longer since alot of the amenities are a distance from the house. The houses was equipped with everything we needed. Everyone in our party enjoyed our weekend."
