Lovely Apartment
Amazing apartments, really close to shops and restaurants. Apartment was really clean and modern, had a lovely time and would recommend.

Great location but had some complaints
The apartment was in a great location for attending something at Caird Hall and for seeing some of the other sights in Dundee. Beds were comfy and living room reasonably furnished. We were put off by the front door which was very difficult to navigate with luggage. Then in the flat itself, there were inexplicable fire doors throughout, including in the bathroom! This meant a lot of banging about (a real problem at night with children) and generally it was really hard work just moving about between rooms, particularly when carrying plates between kitchen and living room. Bedside lights would have been helpful in the second bedroom as would a night light in the hall, which was completely dark. Generally it felt a bit cheaply done and there was a lot of badly applied paint and cracks etc, which didn't create a great impression. Quite spacious for the money though.

Dear Victoria,Thanks for taking the time to write us a review. We are glad you found the apartment spacious and comfortable. We had hoped that you would have mentioned some other positive things, such as the fact that we responded to all of your requests for information prior to your stay and allowed you to check out 2 hours late at no additional charge. The building is an old Victorian building so cannot be compared with modern buildings, hence, the main door is heavy, there are a few cracks throughout from settlement, and we can only apologise for this. The internal fire doors are regulation and we have no choice over this. They are there to keep you safe in the unlikely event that there would be a fire. Any other problems, such as a blown light bulb or a missing bedside lamp, if brought to our attention, would have been replaced immediately and hence, the situation rectified during your stay. We will however, alert our cleaner to be vigilant in such matters.

Perfect for our short stay
The 2-bed apartment was warm, clean and well presented. Beds were comfortable and shower was pleasant. The rooms overlooking Bell Street experienced some noise from a nearby pub, but that stopped around 11.30/midnight. Rooms at the back were very quiet. The kitchen is very small and had limited saucepans. We only used it for breakfast and lunch, so did not try cooking a full meal there. We found the door at the entrance and the doors within the flat were quite heavy due to the strong closures on them, but accept this is probably for security and fire prevention reasons. The location was ideal for visiting our student son who lives nearby. Within easy walking distance of both universities and city centre restaurants and attractions.

Cannot recommend staying here enough ! Fantastic apartment in such a fantastic area , centre only five minute walk away ! The building was very quiet and peaceful and the apartment was just perfect for what I needed! Host in constant communication and check-in was so simple! Thank you for a wonderful stay and I can’t wait to book again

Dear Tina, Thanks for taking the time to write a review and I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied. During the welcome call that we had, you did not take up the offer of extra heating and so we assumed that the apartment had heated up sufficiently & you were warm enough. This is definitely not a situation we would knowingly leave any of our guests in.

Nice stay at Dundee
The apartment was a true reflection of the picture shown on the site. Near to city center and it's surroundings. A wonderful home way from home. The only thing lacking was the WIFI connection to the bedroom. You can stay within the vicinity of the living room if you need to use it. Get yourself ready for a little exercise as you climb the hilly stairs. I will love to repeat the journey.

The apartment was in a great location. Central to all the city amenities. Quite noisy street with a lively pub next door. Apartment shows signs of wear and tear and would benefit from some attention. Interestingly there was no heating at all in the main living area which meant we had to leave the door open to the entrance to get any heat into to the apartment.

Dear Graeme Thank you for taking the time to review us and we can only apologise for the lack of heating in the lounge. We had a portable radiator in there which must have been removed but was not reported to us. We give all our guests a courtesy call to ensure they have everything they need so if we had known, we would have sorted it immediately. We are having all the apartments redecorated, along with a replacement heating system installation, in December, but the apartments are actually only two years old, having been fully refurbished in 2019. Wear and tear from guests coming and going is unavoidable and we do everything we can to minimise and correct this throughout the year.

Great stay
It was a great stay in Dundee. The apartment is located on a university campus with several pubs nearby. Its central location made it easy to walk to places more inland like Dundee Law as well as the main tourist sites along the water. The apartment itself was huge and nice. Would recommend!

Great apartment
The apartment was in good condition and in a great location. The staff were very helpful and quick to respond. It was cosy yet modern and had everything we needed. Only issue being the noise from outside but that cannot be helped, I would just recommend bringing ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.

Being located in the city center it is great because you are close to amenities and you are able to walk to train station, bus station, etc but unfortunately it comes with the issue of being noisy sometimes during weekends.
