“diffinitely worth the money”
I really felt that I got my money's worth out of this stay. The free wi-fi was a huge plus that made our stay a lot less stressful
“Awesome Cheap Stay!”
This place was great! The staff was very helpful, friendly and knowledgable. Rooms were very clean and they were flexible with us. The free breakfast was actually ok, just get there early, or you'll stand in a really long line. Great place...I would totally go again!
“Would definitely stay again!”
Beds comfy, no noise from nearby train, friendly staff, shower could be a little cleaner but otherwise ok, breakfast cheap and cheerful - make your own toast/coffee. Location 1 min walk from bus station and close to all attractions. Great value for money, will definitely stay again!

“Dont be put off because its a hostel!”
Very pleased with quality of the room and bathroom, the hostel had recently been refurbished and we were clearly in the refurbished part - very nice bathroom. Our private room shared the bathroom with only one other room. Impressed with the service experienced when the light in the bathroom broke as it was fixed that same evening. Despite having a bed each (as bunks), one was a double bed. The only problem was a slight squeak of the bed everytime you moved which was solved by storing our bags on the top bunk. All in all, that was the only complaint, I was very pleased with my experience at Isaacs and would recommend to anyone trying to save a bit of money!
“Fantastic”
I was worried about my stay at Isaac's but it was fantastic. Very friendly staff--they helped us book a hostel in Cork and helped figure out bus schedules and what not. Very clean and the luggage lockers were huge and convenient. The hostel is a block away from O'Connell Street and the Bus station on Connolly Street. It was very central- nearly all sites are walking distance from here. Highly recommend it!
“Great place. great price”
As soon as I entered the hostel I knew it was going to be a good experience. The lobby was filled with fellow travelers and the ambiance was very welcoming. Check-in was quick and easy, and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hostel was more than perfect, it was a few blocks away from O'Connell street and a 1 minute walk to public transportation. The room was small but extremely well furnished for the price and the bathroom/shower stalls were always very clean. I highly recommend it for both youngsters and families.
“Very good hostel”
I stayed in Isaac's Hostel for 6 nights, and enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The free wifi in the lobby was nice. It was also very conveniently located near the Bus Station, and just 5 mins from the Spire. I will definitely stay there again...
“A Good Value”
it is a good value and a way to keep costs down but it was a bit rundown. I knew that it was a hostel and not the most luxurious. Best advice, keep the amount of luggage that you keep in the room to a minimum. There is no way of knowing who is going to be in the room with you.
“Simple and fairly inexpensive”
We stayed here in a private room and found the hostel to be clean and the staff helpful. They are in the midst of renovating the bathrooms, so those weren't the best, but I am sure they will be nice when complete. Overall, if you are looking for no-frills accomodation in a decent location (not near Temple Bar, but literally across the street from the bus station), this is a solid option.
