“LOVED it!!”
Just how cool is it to come to Dublin, walk into an original pub and check in?! I wanted an original place to stay, not some chain hotel that you can find everywhere when I ran across Farrington's. The pub & rooms are right in the heart of the Temple Bar area. You can easily get to it from the airport with a short bus ride and a short walk. Even though it was right in the middle of everything, the noise from the street did not make it to the room. The room was nice and big and the bathroom was huge!! The only thing I missed was a refrigerator and there was also no phone in the room. I thought it was a great place to stay, the location was awesome and the price was great. Can only recommend it!!
“Too Loud at night”
The hotel is fine except there is a dance club right across the street that was extremely loud until 4 in the morning. There is no way to block out the sound. This was on a Wednesday night, not even a weekend night! We had a 1:00PM check-in that we had to wait until after 2PM to check-in. The next day I asked to check-out an hour late because it was very loud until 4am that night. The host was ok with that, but the cleaning maid was not and kept knocking on the door despite I told her the host gave us an extra hour.
