A Mediterranean-style resort with terra cotta roofs and elements of traditional Arabian architecture, this premier Dubai resort is situated on a 350 acre estate with extensivemanicured gardens and a private beach. An adult swimming pool has a swim-up bar; the children's pool features a water slide. The hotel has 4 restaurants onsite. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in The Club, Lobby, and Lobby Lounge. The Ritz Carlton, Dubai has two small meeting rooms, which can be joined into one large room. Hotel amenities also include a full service spa with saunas and beauty salon, a fitness center, two squash courts, and 4 tennis courts.

The property is currently adding a new wing. This expansion project is expected to continue through 31 August 2012. The existing wing is not under renovation; minimal disturbance to guests is anticipated.

“Would stay again in the Ritz Carlton dubai”

Ritz Carlton dubai is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, very friendly staff, Excellent Breakfast, Excellent hotel facilities, pool and beach very nice with kids club and kids activities, and located near THE WALK. And the room was big.

“Poor Matress caused back problems”

Upon arrival, no one opened the passenger door of the vehicle. Even though we waited, only the driver door was opened. The staff just stood there and looked around. Check in took far longer than normal and we were the only guests checking in. The first floor hallway walking towards the elevators had water damage that was evident, however had not been repaired. All hallways that lead to the rooms had AC leaks from the ceilings. Some leaks had buckets under them, others simply leaked on the floor. The bed was so soft that we sunk into the middle, which made for a horrible night’s sleep. They exchanged the mattress the next day for basically a board type mattress. This was extremely hard. Our backs were killing us. The staff knew about the mattress problems and just shook their heads. The breakfast was not up to Ritz Carlton standards. We commented about this, and the manager corrected it the next morning. He followed up with a bottle of wine for our room and a hand written apology note. The staff were very nice.

“Close to perfection”

The Ritz Carlton Dubai should be a cornerstone for luxury and service, for others to follow. From entry to exit, our stay was perfect. The staff brings the environment to life through their total dedication to the guest. We will always make the Ritz Carlton Dubai our home whenever we are in town.
