“Love to go back ASAP!”

Very Good Clean Hotel with everything you would need. Location we would say on the wrong side of the creek dificult to get to the City center but close to the Airport.

“Would definitely go back again.”

Hotel staff were very helpful and polite. View of the creek from my room and from dining room was great. Electrical plug converters were provided and a bowl of fruit daily in the room. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

“We Enjoyed our Stay”

My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel for 3-4 nights on a stop over return from Europe in late June 2011. We found the Hotel to be of a very acceptable standard and the staff to most helpful. The price through Expedia was extremely good and included buffet breakfasts and airport transfers. Our room was on the 8th floor and had a great view out over the creek which was enhanced at night with the "Dinner Cruise" Dhows all lit up and travelling up and down the creek. The only minor downside to the Hotel is its location now in a developing city, however taxis are relatively cheap (average $25-30UAE) from the hotel to the Dubai city centre and main mall and about the same to the old gold souk. All in all, quite good.

Area recommendations

Main Dubai Mall area and surrounds. Opportunity to visit the Burj Khalif, Water Feature and shopping.

When to go

Not during the summer months, temps can be quite high (40 - 45c) with high humidity

Getting around

Taxis are relatively cheap, plenty of tours are available .. best to book through the hotel ... it will be cheaper than doing it through a travel agent, hop on hop off bus is available as well.

“Great Hotel, Location, Staff, Rooms and Food”

Stayed here for 3 nights in June 2011. Got picked up from airport on time in a nice car. Quick check in for 2am and straight to the room. Stayed in Towers room on the 10th floor. Lots of space, comfy bed, awesome views of creek and city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great buffet breakfast and room service. Would definatly stay here again when visit next time.

“2 Day Stopover in Dubai - so much fun”

Very impressed with quality and service. Magnificent breakfast and amazing variety. Pick up and drop off to airport was appreciated and also meet and greet with free drinks and food from 6.30 to 8 p,.m. Taxis were reasonably priced and we found metro very easy to negotiate. Burj Kalifi (highest building in world) well worth it but book 48 hours in advance on internet to avoid paying $100 instead of $25 for last minute entrance. Dont miss musical fountain 6 p.m. nightly at Dubai Mall. Very cheap destination and would certainly like to visit again. Would stay at Sheraton Creek again. Very enjoyable stay.

Burj Kalifi , highest man made structure in world. But book at least 48 hours before in order to pay $25 Australian instead of $100 for last minute entry. - Still worth it... Musical fountain at Dubai Mall plays free of charge every night from 6 p.m.. A must see. About the size of a football field with music. Liked Emirates Mall for shopping and of course skiing. But remember to take your own gloves and hat as they are not provided with ski gear when you hire. Cost around $30 Aust. for 2 hours skiing. Metro easy to use and very cheap. Only around 3 years old.

“Great location, nice feel”

I like the location a lot where one can walk on the creek and see dhows and daily life, or walk to the souks (markets). Nice restaurants. Sleeping rooms are older with some fussy furniture and without all the modern traveler bells & whistles (like multiple US 110 V outlets or a big desk). Slow check in and out - haven't been able to decifer they system but it works. Bell and concierge and business services were excellent. I felt the hotel's own web description was accurate, and the value for money is excellent. I have stayed here twice and will stay here again when in Dubai. Get a creek view for sure since you can see the pretty creek and also to downtown and the Burj Khalifa.

Area recommendations

Taking the small boats across the creek and exploring on foot the souks and museums.

Getting around

Tasxis are plentiful, reasonable, and highly safe and regulated.
