One of the best location in Palm Jumeirah Dubai and close to many amenities such as good restaurants and transportation. However, the unit itself was poorly furnished and maintained.

Old, tired and needs updating. Overpriced for what is offered. Difficult check in as in another area to the apartment with limited places to park. It’s late - was told to come back at 4pm, came at 4:40pm and still wasn’t ready and told to sit and wait longer.

Oh my god
This is the worst hotel ( I donno if i can call it that) ive ever been to in Dubai, there is no reception its a small office and the guy assisting me was wearing his pjs and flip flops. I felt I was in satwa not in the palm, the house was super dirty stains everywhere on the couch on the pillows and NO VISITERS allowed after 10! Its like jail not a hotel but the worst part is yet to come THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE A POOL OR A BEACH OR A GYM u have to go to another building which is 15 mins walk or 5 mins in the car and PAY to enter the pool

The property is central which made it easy to travel around Dubai. We had to pay to utilize beach and we had to walk from building 1 to building 7-8. It was worth the walk and money to be at a beautiful beach. When taking a shower there was not sufficient hot water.

Great location - comfortable - good value
We booked two nights here. The location is great and there is a lovely area to walk outside and every type of shop/ cafe etc witin 100m. The apartment we booked was upgraded from a 1 bdroom to a three bedroom which was a nice touch. The WIFI would only work if you were with 2 meters of the router which was a bit annoying abd check in took so long that we were recommended to go and come back and then some one elses bags were delivered to our room! Also the deposit we were informed would take 15 days to be returned.

Be aware, you will need a cash desposit!
They asked for a 1,000 Dhs cash deposit on check-in, saying that they do not take card deposits. Also, your room may be in a difference apartment which is a 5-10 minutes walk from the reception building. They do not provide assistance with this.

Extra charge for beach access. Not fair
When I booked this apartment after looking at the website, it showed a swimming pool and sea view which I had to pay extra for.. On arrival we were told we would have to pay per person per day to access the beach. Nowhere on the website does it mention extra payment for the beach although it does for gym and swimming pool. When we booked for a day for the beach we were told we could not use the beach below our apartment as it was for residents only but had to walk 10-15 minutes to another beach. Difficult to walk carrying all our stuff in 35 degree temperature. As had gone for relaxation had hoped to walk on the beach each morning. Very disappointed.

It was very difficult to find reception for check in. there was no sign. Just go inside of building where led by google Map. I think this accommodation made for residence but change some room for traveler. That's why you might not expect the service of hotel. And hot water was not available around 6-9pm. Hotel said when people use hot water too much, it might not come out.

Lovely place.
Our stay was good. The only problem was that we arrived early morning so we had to stay for over 12 hours before a room was available to us. We were however upgraded to a bigger room. Lovely place!

Arrived at the apartment Shoreline 20 early morning 9.30 am, and were allowed to go straight to the apartment at shoreline 13 a fair distance down the road although 4pm was the check I time. Was well pleased at this! The apartment had 4 toilets x4 showers/3 bathrooms , dishwasher, washing machine, microwave , oven/hob. TV s in 3 rooms and good selection of channels although all languages! Very clean and maintained well. There was a good selection of shops and places to eat at the rear of the apartments and more opening all the time.Flagged taxis down to get around no problem. We were very happy with the apartment and would stop again!

the room was very comfortable. It was inconvenient to check in a different building and then be sent in a van to another building where are room was. Safe was non operative, it took 2 hours to get the battery changed. We had to wait 2 hours in our room until tech brought new batteries. There was no concierge, and booking office staff was not experienced and knowledgeable about places and activities.

Royal Club Palm Jumeirah - Fantastic Value
My recent stay at the Royal Club Palm Jumeirah was excellent. The hotel is located near the entrance to the world famous Palm Jumeirah along the 'Golden Mile' and walking distance to shops, the beach and amenities.

Stay was fine once I found the location. Royal Club is only a company name. the buildings are Shoreline Apartments. You go to one building to checkin then your stay can be in 1 of 20+ buildings. use of gym pool and beach were an additional daily fee. I had the Seaview accommodations that was nice. there are restaurants and grocery store nearby on property. apartment is fully stocked with dishes cutlery etc. I would stay again if I wanted a place in that area. it's far from downtown.

Good apartment with spacious rooms
TV channels did not work. Several plug sockets not working. Maid service repeatedly did not provide 5 sets of towels and one one occasion they were not provided until the next day even though the apartment was booked for 3 adults and 2 children. However, these are minor aspects of the service and did not ruin our experience at all. Its a decent place and in a great location.

The location was reasonable but is a long way from anything although the taxi service is fantastic and very reasonable. I asked for an apartment which was close to the beach as was with my elderly mother and did not get it and therefore my mother was unable to visit the beach or even see it as it was under guard. I went to the beach, which was amazing, but was not happy about having to pay £16 per day per person - could get very expensive if all you want is a morning swim!! Our apartment was fairly close to a small shopping mall with supermarket and ATMs, although the ATM did not pay out my money and I have been charged for it :-(. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped but the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Overall reasonably happy with the apartment but would book closer to the city in future.

Make sure about location and booking requirements.
Long process to book in (and out) - different building about 2km away, took long, cash deposit required. Access in ring road, therefore have to travel approx 5km to reach room from booking in. No free access or clear view of beach, quite far away. Nice spacious apartment, but expensive for what you get.

3rd stay at shoreline apartments, it is very convenient for visiting family on the palm. Royal club at Palm Jumeriah rent apartments in the Shoreline development. Apartments are very clean and spacious, reception is responsive and effective at fixing issues and daily maid service very thorough. Cafes and excellent supermarket now open in Goldenmile building complex. this is immediately behind Shoreline, 1 to 10 minutes walk away along the park / running track.

Quick stop at Palm Island
Just a little hard to find... Cabbie had no idea.... Maybe a little map as you had to go under the road and back down the other side. Otherwise , a good choice.

Deceiving description
Not on the beach as mentioned on the site, had to cross road, go to other building and pay 80AED/day to access beach. Paid extra for partial seaview and got a construction view instead with metro and road bridges very close to balcony. No one welcomed us. There was no one to help us with luggage. The comforter on bed was filthy dirty and had some dirt in it that can clearly be seen. Got there early at 2 30 and requested early check in. They said no room was available. Their checkout time is 12 so I don't know how that's possible. Saw no one leave or come in. But thats still fine I guess if they told us that it was their policy. At 4 10 I had to go in and ask for check in again and then they gave me papers to fill which they could have done while I was waiting for the past hour and a half. Checked in at 4 30. The main purpose to stay there was beach and when I called them they said the timings to get a pass for beach is from 9 to 4. AGAIN which they failed to mention while I was waiting. No slippers or toothbrushes were provided and the shower head leaked water everywhere.

It might be good for a couple or family beach getaway - not for friends for the weekend though, too far away from downtown, atlantis, and it's even a mile walk from the metro. The beach behind the buildings across the street looks nice, but costs an extra 80 Durhams per day to go onto. Other than that beach, no fun activities are offered to guests. They did help us schedule a super fun desert safari though, through the sand dunes, that included camel rides and a nice dinner! I'd choose to either stay at Atlantis or near the Burj Khalifa next time :)

Boon's Family Vacation to Dubai 2015
Checking in was a breeze. Download an App called Careem for Taxis and use an App called talabat when ordering your food. Goto the Lulu Hypermarket if you plan on getting some groceries, not too far from the apartment, it's very close to Mall of Emirates. The main desk is located in Building 20, this is where you will check in and check out from. You will have to pay a 1000 Dirhams refundable deposit and a non-refundable 50 Dirhams.
