“very good, but...”

Overall very good, but I had reserved a non-smoking room and when I arrived there wasn't one available. They put me in a smoking room where the air was so bad that I got a sore throat. They gave me a non-smoking room the following day.

“Convenient if you are going to World Trade Centre - Dubai.”

Convenient to stay here if you are going to the World Trade Centre - Dubai as it is on the premises. The rooms are fine. Dining is not great, and the breakfast is dissapointing. A bit pricy for what you get. Ingar

“Location is the best”

I usualy book in Novotel during a busniess exbo for the great location , very accessible to the exhibition area , but this time it was for two days holiday , the location is great to whom they dont want to rent a car , 10 mins away from Metro Station . Breakfast is outstanding , the next day i was invited to Armani Hotel for breakfast and I found the Novotel BF is more better !!! .

“Novotel”

Good quality 4 star hotel. However, room comfort could have been better. The Air conditioning wasnt working properly so was not very comforting. Good location and easy access to the financial centre.

“Best choice for horse show”

I think you will enjoy the closeness of the hotel to the horse show. Also, the hotel is within close proximity to the train station.

“Good location but service was average”

We stayed for two nights over the weekend, Althoug the location is quite good, as it was close to Dubai Mall and Media City. The service was average and Valet was always understaffed. I think in terms of the price we received for the weekend, it was okay. But dont think I would want to go back again. Just didnt have that comforting sense.

“4 star going on 2 star”

We checked in and got a foul smell in the room.We immediately complained to the front desk and were told that the musty smell is due to the humidity and once the aircon is switched on the smell will disappear.We switched the aircon on and left the room for about 8 hours.When we returned the smell was just as bad.We were moved at midnight to another room.The drainhole in the shower was blocked.The bar fridge was locked.Its a miracle that this hotel is 4-star rated.Its so basic that even a 3-star rating will be too high for it.We even became tired of complaining to the front desk.When we checked out we explained to the on duty manager that we had a bad experience and that we vow never to return.We even told him that our company had a long-standing contract with the hotel and that we will ask them to reconsider.Perhaps some compensation in the way of a complimentary breakfast or similar would've sweetened the bitter experience but no such offer was forthcoming.Well, what do you expect from a 2-star hotel masquerading as a 4-star.
