Unfortunately, the experience was rather poor. Check in took 45 mins, only one counter was open and they were very slow. No drinks were offered, no apologies or courtesy extended for the long wait time. Arabic coffee was out in the waiting space. Hair dryer was missing in the room and was later replaced but the new one was broken. Remote control that controls nearly all the functions in the room including tv, in room dining, temperature was broken. One hour later, IT came to fix it after calling multiple times as the room was freezing and we couldn’t change the temperature. Requested plates and cutlery in room and had to call 4x and wait 45 minutes to receive them. Food was cold by then. Front desk staff was fairly rude and unhelpful on multiple occasions when we flagged issues in the room. Room cleaning and valet staff are nice. Hotels location is great as it connects to Marina mall and the hotel is clean but other than that, no real reason to stay here.

This is a grand old school Dubai hotel, quite large, and full of marble. Generally, its quite nice. Huge fancy lobby and common areas are nice. Most importantly, it has one of the best hotel gyms you'll find in Dubai, open 24 hours. Some serious weaknesses as well. I've stayed in a couple different rooms, and both had very weak water pressure. For this kind of money, that's inexcusable. Weak showers and even weak when flushing the toilet. Also, you can hear each time the toilet flushes in the room above you. But the location right next to the mall is great and very convenient, staff is good, although the front desk staff is not particurlarly friendly, and the guests are upscale. One final weak point is the pool area is treated as a party venue, which is fine if you like that sort of thing, but not if you want a quiet retreat. On Sundays they have a very loud singer and its full on adult frat party in Dubai.

The pool and pool bar are owned and managed by a third party. It's quite embarrasing to be refused service if you ask them to charge them the room . You have to end up walking around with a wallet while going to swim

Fantastic hotel, lovely rooms and cleanest ive been in. House cleaners were fantatsic. Pool was often quite busy and not enough beds in my opinion. Also the property lost our bag that we had asked them to look after after we checked out. However it was obviously a mistake and they did deal with the situation best they could and managed to get the bag back to us.

Great location and walkable to the marina and JBR. Dubai marina mall is linked to the hotel so that’s a plus. Great choice of restaurants near by and definitely recommend booking the marina view room. Ideal hotel for couples and groups of friends. On the weekends it has pool parties so avoid then if you looking for a quiet weekend.

The location is great and the hotel is absolutely clean! Great for families! Only advise is the restaurants options for families, they should consider adding more alternatives. Pork offered in breakfast takes a lot of time to be served! Overal this hotel is great it’s my fifth time there and will be back for sure

A very nice hotel
The hotel, even though it is 13 years old, is very well maintained. I had one main issue and that was the loud music at the pool which made it impossible to rest or sleep.

We booked this hotel for a 3-day stay to celebrate my birthday. We requested for a room change due to the smell of smoking in the first room. Initially we were told that we will have a new room ready by 1pm next day, but next day the staff asked us to wait until 3pm. At 3pm, the staff changed their statement again and told us to wait for another 2 hours. We wasted for the entire afternoon to get a new room. Another bad experience was that the hotel forgot to clean the room at the last day of our stay. We called the front desk to clean up the room after we go out at 3:30pm but the housekeepers never came. When we checked out, the receptionist just said they are sorry but didn't show any attempt to compensate us anything for their mistake.

Amazing hotel with beautiful views to the matina
We loved this hotel! The room wad super clean and very spacious. We had beautiful marina views. The pool was amazing! We and the kids loved it! Breakfast was good. Finally - the service was excellent!! Especially I want to mention Sachin who helped us with our luggage, Irfan who helped us with our car and the lovely lady who cleaned our room perfectly that unfortunately I don't know her name as she didn't want to disturb us and disappeared very quickly.... It was an excellent stay!! We surely be back!!
