“Very good for short and medium stays”

“Perfect for my needs”

This hotel is great for anyone wanting to access the airport (metro close and goes directly into terminals 1 and 3), beach or really anything at all in Duabi. It was clean, quiet, had underground free parking, a very nice breakfast buffet, and pleasant staff. Will definitely return.

“Perfect for one night”

This hotel was recommended to me by some other teachers who were on a budget in Dubai. No frills but central location, clean and a nice buffet breakfast. Hotel is near the metro and not too far by taxi to the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa (tallest building) Safe, central location but there isn't much by the hotel...other than Safa park which is still a bit of a walk. Room was simple, clean and fresh. On the small side but not cramped. Was not bothered by noise at all.

“Great Value”

Arrived at the hotel at 8.30AM, hotel staff was very nice to accomodate my early arrival. Hotel breakfast was great. Hotel is a bit far from airport. Metro station is about 10 minutes walk. Great place to stay for a budget traveller. Used Hotel shuttel for Jumeria Beach and Dubai Mall.

Area recommendations

Desert Safari is a must see! Should have done it once more........O' Well Dow Dinner Cruise is a waste of money......... Be sure to buy your Bur Khalifa tickets in advance and try to go around 7PM that way you can see the light up Dubi sky line and the water fountain show from the 124th floor! Don't miss Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates (ski Dubai), Atlantis, Palm Island, and the Gold Souk.

“Good Hotel for short term stay”

I would recommend this hotel for any one needs to stay for short time to do business in Dubai. Clean hotel and in a good location. They also have car parking. The only thing I didn't like is their breakfast.

“Good budget choice”

I had two things planned on my visit to Dubai. One was to go up in the world's tallest building; the other to ski indoors. I did both and the Holiday Inn Safa Park served me well. Expect to ride a taxi anywhere. There is a store in the office building across from the hotel and it was handy for snacks and small items. The hotel itself was more than adequate and the only possible flaw was the failure to make up the room until late in the day. Breakfasts were very good and the one evening meal I had there was ok. But mainly, the price is right.

Area recommendations

I only went to three locations: the Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emerites and a desert dune bashing trip. I also did a taxi tour of the city but didn't stop anywhere. If you want to shop, the Dubai mall should keep you busy. If you don't shop, you should still see it just for the variety. I thought the desert trip was overrated and a bit much, but I'm glad i had the experience. Dubai is unlike any place I have been and has much to recommend it, but has drawbacks as well.

I am too old to really ski, but I wanted to try the indoor skiing and I'm glad I did. I only went up and down 4 times, but it was worth it. If you ever have been a skier, I recommend it.

“OK for the money”

Not a bad place for the price. The internet was a little pricey. I think it should be included with any hotel these days. A little far from restaurants and such, but right down the road from many nice areas.

“Good Business Hotel”

The hotel was excellent for the purpose that I was using it for since it is along Sheik Zaed Rd. a little to the south of the main district. You need a car. It is not really in a touist location and people in this catagory would find it a little far from points of interest. At the best of times it would be difficult to find and construction at the time did not help. The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful.
