“No Airport Service”
I thought this place would have airport service, since it said it did in the description, but it did not. Also internet was a pretty hefty charge. I thought I was going to be near all of the attractions, but boy was I surprised when I was way too far to walk to any. In fact the cab driver that picked me up at the mall didn't even know where this place was. Thank goodness they gave me a map. Now that's out the way. This place was very nice for the price. I thought the room was very clean, neat, and well decorated. The service was good with the exception of the internet. Oh and if you do pay for internet, it won't let you on your yahoomail. there is a bar, which is good, and a restaurant. I would recommend this to someone who just wants to get away from it all. Very close to the beach, so that could be the escape. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend based on tourist attractions. Too far away.
“Excellent Value”
Great price for the room - it was basic, but clean and modern. Breakfast was included free and was basic as well, but entirely adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful and both check in and check out were quick and easy. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.
“Price was right”
This hotel is not the best location in dubai, nor is the neighborhood around it a bit glamourous. This is a budget hotel in a budget neighborhood. But having said that, if you're just there for sleep then it will do. The room was clean and comfortable with fairly new decor/furnishings. Pillows were firm and comfy. We wanted to brew coffee in the kettle in the morning, but both mugs provided were dirty. One had lipstick stains on the edge. We got no where trying to call roomservice to bring another. After a 20 min delay, we called and made the request again only to have the concierge tell us that they were too busy to do so. The breakfast buffet conained no hot food to my dissapointment. All crissonts, yogurt, fruit, ollives and toast. Where are the eggs??
“An outstanding value!”
This hotel is an outstanding value and I'll go back to it every time I am in Dubai. I recommend it heartily and assure you that you will not be dissapointed.

There's nothing in the hotel's direct neighborhood, but it's 10-15 minutes by car away from Sheikh Zayed Road, Jumeirah Road and Dubai Mall.

The Holiday Inn Express Dubai Jumeirah surroundings was very nice except for the very, very hard bed in my hotel room. No bedbugs that I could see.
“Not a convenient location”
You had to get a taxi every time you left the hotel as it is not near any of the tourist attractions and this was the biggest disadvantage and inconvenience as well as an additional cost. The surrounding area was not attractive either. The hotel itself was okay. Breakfast was adequate.
“Quality hotel for a budget traveler”
We enjoyed our 6 night stay at this hotel. Complimentary Continental Breakfast was adequate with good selection. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly. Few minor issues are, hotel is little away from central Dubai. No traveler's desk on hand.
