“Wanderfull stay in Dubai”

My husband and I came to Dubai for a big convention show that we needed to go to. So we wanted a place to relax after each day of work. The Crown Plaza was very clean, nice and the staff was very friendly to accommodate us in every way. They even upgraded our room because we got in late. Our room had a wonderful view of the World Tallest Building. It is very near the airport and not to far away from site seeing around Dubai. There was also a canal walk along the Hotel with benches to sit on. There was a huge mall and several restaurants that were attached to the Hotel

Area recommendations

If you go to Dubai you have to of course go to the Burj Kalif which is the tallest building. During the day you can see all around Dubai and the ocean, if you go at night you only see the lights. We also went to the Mall of Emirates to see the Skiing. We come from a great state of wonderful snow skiing so of course we had to see what it was like in Dubai.

When to go

We went to Dubai in Nov. The weather was very comfortable and the skies were nice and clear most of the time.

“Very happy with our stay in this hotel”

We ended up upgrading our room for the breakfast and the internet access. We were offered the superior room. It was actually pretty spacious. Breakfast was very nice. Pool area though small, is actually comfortable. The shopping center next to the hotel is definitely a bonus. Definitely a hotel we will stay with again when in Dubai.

“Extremely Nice Hotel with very friendly staff”

I was on a two day business trip form the states and needed a hotel that was nice and had internet/business center. THis hotel was very good for business and the staff was super friendly and very helpful. I will go back there on my next stay in Dubai. The only down side was the food selection. But then again I'm pregnant so my food tastes are all over the place.

When to go

Not during Ramadan! No food besides hotel, a pregnant girl gets hungry!

“Rest in Dubai”

When returning from vacationing, I always take a couple days of rest in Dubai. I never think twice about where I will be staying. This was my third stay at the Crowne Plaza and again my expectations were exceeded. Upon checkin, they recognized me as a returning guest, and upgraded my room. The view was marvelous. The food, the service and the comfort of my room were great after three weeks of none stop traveling and fun. Walking to the attached shopping area and restaurants added to the already fantastic options for such at the hotel itself. I will always consider this hotel above all others when I am in Dubai. Plus the airport is less than 2 miles away.

“Great location, great hotel, great service !”

I've been to Dubai quit a few times and this was my first experience in Festival City. OMGOODNESS! You can walk through a passage way yo Fesitival City Mall where you have great shopping, restaurants and excellent views. The front desk upgraded my room where I had a beautiful view of the Burj Khalifa and Sheik Zhayed road buildings. Absolutely loved it

the high quality of all aspects within the Crowne Plaza made our stay fun & memorable. I can recommend the Begian Beer Cafe !

Area recommendations

Bur Dubai, donw by the creek, take a water taxi over the creek and sit and watch the cargo boats being loaded, whilst drinking in the sun and a nice coffee.

the Meat Company restaurant at Souk Al Bahar, ask for a table outside with a view of the Dubai Fountains, excellant food & great views.

“Great Hotel at Festival City”

Everything was wonderful, the room was spacious and the bathroom was fantastic, huge bath with glass surround which looks through bedroom and then view of the creek. Complimentary toiletries, slippers and bath robes all included. Hotel staff very helpful and directly connects to Intercontinental next door which directly connects to Festival Centre which is a huge shopping Mall. Took a taxi at night to the Gold Souk in Deira which is about 8 min away and is very cheap. Bargain hard for jewellery and try and pay less than 30% than their list price. Would definately stay again as the location is good, very close to the airport for any early morning flights. Checkout took 5 seconds.

“best service+price hotel”

i liked the room and everything in the hotel and there was somthings i liked such as -the elevator dont work until you use your room card -the room service and over all service was super, no one make you wait or say anything that may annoy you and no one act like he is tired and thw crew almost made me feel that they will do anything i ask -and they have six kind of pillows you can choose among them and somthings i kinda didnt like -the bed wasnt that comfort for me ( maybe other people will find it comfort) -the tv menu and how to get to your channel is kinda slow If You want to get a nice weekend with the Wife Alone with no kids , This is my Option for You
