“amazing hotel amazing stuuf i will be back after ramadhan”

“HIghly recommend this hotel”
I enjoyed every minute of my 4 night stay. I arrived very early in the morning and still was given a room. The service from everyone was very polite and helpful. The breakfast I found was excellent. I was always able to get a taxi by asking the porters. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
“Deira City”
The Carlton Towers in Deira City is ideally placed overlooking the Dubai Creek. it offers easy access to the old parts of Deira which from a cultural perspective was very good. There were quite a few Russian tourists in the hotel, however they were very polite / sociable. The rooms were slightly dark inside due to the furnishing / soft fabrics but were very clean and well appointed.
“Great Value for Money”
I stayed at the Dubai Carlton Towers Hotel in April 2012. The staff at the Front Office was courteous, professional and friendly, however, the lady at the City Tour Desk was not at all smiling and welcoming. The room was neat and the facilities were great. The hotel is conveniently located opposite the Duabi Creek, the Gold Souq and the malls. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and won't mind staying again.
“My Experience”
You get what you pay for. In all it was an ok experience. One thing was very disappointing. I had a long argument with the front office staff about the internet in the room. The Expedia booking and information listed that room internet access is free however the staff was suggesting that this is incorrect and this prctice has been discontinued. I chose this hotel over others just because of this feature otehrwise I would have chosen otehr hotels. Anyway at the end they provided the lobby code for my use.
“Noisy with night clubs, bad night club behaviour of security personnels. no snacks, no free internet”
This hotel did have good services. free internet services, it had a very nosiy nights made by night clubs musick. No free snacks were availible and as well as no airport transportation.

I've been this hotel for 3 days in Oct.,2008. Everything is normal. I'll recommend to book other hotel if you can.
“Old Hotel and lack of car parking”

“Dubai Russian dump”
Semi clean room, faulty curtain rods, old small TV, advertised wireless internet only available in hotel reception, internet wire connection in the room NOT free, bathroom in need of remodel. Hotel must be undergoing remodel, but they should not place hotel guest arriving late at night adjacent to rooms under construction. I may have fallen asleep at around 1:00am after arriving around 11:30pm-midnight. Was woken next morning at 7:30-8:00am by concrete demolition in room next door. This continued throughout the day, and same start next morning. Hotel reception stated no other rooms available (Russian groups primarily consisting of females of dubious occupation were constantly entereing hotel). Location is however fantastic right next to the "river" and 10-15 minutes walk from the souks, spice and gold.
