“Ascot hotel--fair value”
Overall the hotel was very good -reasonable value for the charges involved & within waliking distance of the Creek. However, there is one very big negative about the hotel. This is that Internet access --even with your own computer is ridiculously expensive. Why cannot a hotel of this stature & cost NOT provide free Internet access?
“Weekend R&R”
This was the perfect weekend hotel. It's a bit far from the airport but that's ok. The Irish Pub in the basement and the Japanese Sushi bar on the 5th floor were high points in my weekend there. Very happy with my overall experience. The staff was also very helpful with everything I asked them. Only problem was the bed was really hard.
“Hotel with great service”
The hotel was good, comfortable, clean and conveniently located. Hotel staff provided excellant service. The buffet breakfast was good too. The only bad thing about the hotel was room lighting. The lights in the room were extremely dim, only suitable for sleeping, not suiable for doing any reading or browsing the maps for planning the next day. In fact the room had no central light. Otherwise it is a great hotel.
“Fantastic”
We have already recommended to friends traveling there. And we intend to stay there on our next trip as well. Staff was fabulous.
“very noisy”
overall the hotel was excellent but noisy at night as our room was above the resturant and a club. if you stay, get a room on a higher floor. our window didn't open and there was no hot water.
