“a delight. Recommended”
first off, this hotel is not central, its about 10km out of town. however there is a good bus service (every 20 minutes in day, every 30 minutes at night. last bus 01.00) the hotel is set in its own grounds and overlooks the town. there is a nice village close by with pubs, restaurant. rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. staff very helpful and attentive.
“From Karen to Kim in the Park”
Very pleasant hotel in lovely wooded grounds in a quiet and peaceful location in the far south-west of Dresden. Hotel has a 'family-run' feel to it and the restaurant and bar appear to be used by locals and visitors alike - there was a wedding reception in progress on my first evening (28 July). Atmosphere is low-key and unobtrusive. The hotel is at the opposite end of town from the airport (in the far north), so allow about 2 hours door to door. Hotel to centre of Dresden about 45 minutes.
“Quiet, park style surroundings”
Area was quiet, service was very good. Room was along lines of college dorm style. Don't expect luxury, very basic. However, clean and good value. We enjoying walking the grounds and into the little town up the hill.

There is no elevator, which is a problem particularly for older persons. Also the restaurant wasn't very clean and the food left much to be desired. There is another hotel by this name which is a four-star hotel, which looked very nice from just seeing the lobby and restaurant.
