Outstanding Hotel ! Excellent dining, clean, safe and comfortable. What really sets it apart, however, is the staff ! So attentive and going the extra mile to make sure you are cared for. Special thanks to the Breakfast Buffet Staff, Tanjina Afroj of the Cleaning Staff, The Front Desk Staff, and General Manager Alfred Gain. Staff were very polite and attentive to detail.they leaned over backwards to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I would definitely stay here again although it may be pricey .

SPEECHLESS is the only word i have left in my vocabulary to describe this so called 5 star Intercontinental hotel If a 5 star hotel is considered based on how rude the staff is calling me at 12midnight and asking if everything is all in place?( i guess the staff who called me went to work to the wrong intercontinental hotel.. maybe he was supposed to go Intercontinental U.S. but went to intercontinental Bangladesh ) You can hear loud noises in the hallway.( i should not deacribe the noise I heard.... just put it this way this noise i heard is not good for children, you can hear this kind of noise in a motel or love hotel ) Not only this noise was annoying but the music level next room was unbelievable, i needed to take 2 sleeping pills, cover my ears with ear plugs. Well i guess the first noise i mentioned above is much more soothing than the second noise i described.

Loved my room . Staff very attentive. I would appreciated a gift shop, and convenience items available on hotel grounds. Food was not as good as I Desserts were the best— and the breakfast eggs.

Wonderful Stay
We had such an amazing stay at the InterContinental Dhaka. Our room was clean and comfortable - we loved the view we had of Ramna Park. The hotel staff were attentive and welcoming. We also hosted our one year anniversary party at the hotel in one of their ballrooms during our stay. The staff for the event were fantastic and everything went smoothly. Cannot say enough great things about this property!

Superb Service but Poor Communication
Hotel Intercontinental in Dhaka is a very clean & well maintained hotel. I stayed there for 7 nights. The staff and management are ready to provide superb service. The check-in was great and fast (however I would rate it as a 9/10 where 10/10 would be equivalent to the mind-blowing check-in experience the Taj Hotels provide). The rooms are very spacious with bathrooms that was high end. I stayed one night in a twin room and later was upgraded to a king suite. Both rooms were comfortable with the King Suite being really comfortable, of course! I stayed at Radisson Blu Dhaka, but Intercontinental Dhaka’s rooms are by far better, cleaner, more comfortable. I enjoyed the fruit baskets and the afternoon chocolate & dates! And not to mention the fresh flowers in the room that were changed every 2-3 days! These small yet meaningful touches to room service made our stay memorable! What could be improved? communication. During my 7-night stay, three nights the air conditionings & at least on two nights the water was serviced. The timings of these service ends were always wrong! My first night was a very difficult one. The communication letter/notice said water could be shut off during the night until 5:30 AM but we did not have water until, at least 8:30 AM or so and we are both early risers. That created an unhygienic condition in our bathroom. We were told that the hot water would be available right after the water was on and ended up with a cold shower in the winter!

Fantastic hospitality and warm reception when we arrived. My brother and I were here for the conflict in 1971 that led to the birth of Bangladesh. The hotel staff learned of our living here and they greeted us so warmly and said welcome back as we arrived. Fantastic hotel and a very great value. The breakfast buffet is beyond description.

Memorable stay in a real five star hotel
Check in was very quick. Excellent customer service. Mr Zakaria was very friendly, helpful and cooperative. The room was spacious, clean, well designed and well decorated, modern facilities, cozy bed. Food quality needs improvement. The only negative of this hotel is the lobby set up did not give me a vibe. The lobby is the FACE of the hotel as we always make a comment when see a man or woman face if he or she is pretty. Whoever did lobby design, set up or layout did consider the contemporary look.

A true 5 stars
The property is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable and well laid out. Gym abd outdoors pool are top notch as the buffet breakfast. People are all very kind and make you feel at home. I would have liked to see a more reasonably priced restaurant optiios though. Unless you want to dive again in the crazy Dhaka trafic after a day of visiting customers, you are pretty much obliged to eat in and €69 for a rib eye steak i foubd otvwas a bit pushy.

This is an amazing hotel! The pool, staff and food are spectacular. The pool is the best part though. They actually serve you drinks poolside which is hard to find in Bangladesh and there are private poolside cabanas that don’t cost any money! ☺️ The staff is very welcoming to tourists as well.
