A gotel that gives you all.
Clean and spacious room for my family of four. The staff was friendly and helpful. Easy check in and check out. Great location.

The accomodation is part of a public bar. The room was clean and spacious, it suited our needs of a 1 night stay perfectly.. I feel the price for the room was a little on the 'high' side. We arrived, decided to eat lunch in the 'bistro'. Wow!... prices being asked for 'pub food'..a lot higher than expected. Good sized servings on the plate.. but.. jeez.. :( The only other thing worth mentioning.. the car parking for the rooms.. Not sure how it came about, but the space allotted for parking guest's cars.. not nearly enough.. if they were to have a 'full house'.

Apologies for the delayed response Steve - we do understand that parking can be problematic the general hotel guests utilise before our house guests. We are sorry this causes inconvenience but we do have resolutions planned in a hopefully not too distant redevelopment

Good morning. We are sorry to hear that you were not entirely happy during your stay. The car park is meant to be reserved to accommodate hotel guests, however on occasion this is not the case. We do have an overflow car park behind motel rooms which is where trucks are meant to be parked. Thank you for your feedback as we can now address this issue. Great central dpot to stay in Devonport.
Great accomodation, basic but very clean and comfortable. Great for a one night stay. The only addition I could suggest would be a towel rail in the bathroom and maybe a couple of comfy chairs .

Arriving straight from a rough ride on the boat, we were thrilled with the room. A hot shower, great meal in the bistro and a good sleep did wonders. Then to wake up to a beautiful morning and go for a walk to the river mouth, was the best start to our holiday.

Very clean. Typical Motel layout. Queen room was perfectly basic for 1 night. Great water pressure and temp regulation in shower. Food in the restaurant was decent but over priced for me. Staff are very nice. I would stay there again.

Close to the Spirit of Tasmania terminal and the Devonport CBD. A great location on the Mersey River. The room was clean and spacious and appeared to have been renovated since my last stay in Feb 2018.

Very clean and spacious room. I arrived just as the Bistro was closing and the staff called the kitchen to place a last minute order. My only negative for this property is that the on site parking is not enough for the number of rooms. Street parking is available, but hauling suitcases a distance in the dark is difficult.

Requested a microwave in the room and they provided :) there was also kettle and complimentsry tea stuff. Complementary soap/shampoo/conditioner. Good clean bathroom and shower. Can walk to stuff to do in town, and also close to water. Parking right in front of the room. Can go to the attached bistro and bar, but they don't stay open too late.

I like how neat the property was and the showers were neat. I also liked the property because it’s cheap and very neat. They can improve the lighting in the bathroom because the main area was bright and bathroom was a bit dark

Nice comfy stay
Quite comfy for a family which just finished long hour sea trip arriving at late night. Noticed that the parking spaces were less than room numbers, but we were lucky to the last space.

I always love staying at the Eli. I had a different room than I normally do this time, and I didn’t find it as clean. It was still very comfortable and quiet, but just not as perfect as normal. Great location though, and well priced. I’ll stay here again.

Very basic but clean and neat. couldn't sleep well though. The noise from the carpark right outside the room, the honking of the cruise and train kept me awake.

The service was off the chart, super friendly and super helpful, realy nice clean slick room, my only issue is the carpet floors are very dirty and need to be steam cleaned, other than that it was perfect
