“Great rate”

the rate was the selling point for us, we just a had a very early flight and needed to be close to airport @ 3 in the morning so we didn't have to drive in at that hour. This is an older hotel starting to show its age, but all was comfy and clean.

“Ok value for the costs.”

Value was ok for the the costs. Room was clean and comfortable and the location to the airport was convenient. Staff was friendly. If on a budget the room will be good.

“What you pay is what you get!”

With this hotel, you get what you pay for. It's not the worst by far. However, there is nothing impressive about it either. It's O.K for the money.

“Hotel to avoid”

We had an overnight stay in Detroit to catch a flight in the morning. We were looking for something affordable and close to the airport. This hotel matched these requirements and the staff was very helpful. However, the room was terrible, uncomfortable and small (and we have stayed in many European hotels where rooms tend to be smaller than American ones but this one was still very small). The hotel does not need to be remodeled; it needs to be demolished and rebuilt. We avoided touching things in our room because they all looked so old and smelly. Next time, I will find another hotel in the Romulus area where the Hotel Connection shuttle goes and we can stay comfortably.
