Great location - right on Ipanema beach, and a block or two from shopping and restaurants. We had great meals at several restaurants within two blocks. Enjoy a stroll on the beach - it's easy enough to walk to Leblon or Copacabana beach. Taxis in Rio are plentiful, and we also took a bus downtown. (The Metro station is a few blocks away, but unfortunately, closed for renovation during 2013). From the hotel, it was <$30 US to get to Cristo Redentor or Sugarloaf. This is a nice small hotel (6 rooms on each of the 15 floors) and the breakfast is first-class. From the rooftop pool/exercise center, you'll get great views of the city.

Stayed here during the first 2 weeks of May. Exceptionally located right near the beach, walking distance to the Sunday market and not too far from Copacabana if you're looking to take a little walk. Many great restaurants nearby. The staff is fluent in English and very helpful with any questions you may have. Beach chairs and towels are provided at no additional cost which was extremely convenient! Breakfast and Wi-fi were great as well.

Excellent option for Rio downtown and Santos Dumont Airport. Arrived at 22:00 after a long flight from LHR and had my luggage collected from taxi by doorman on arrival. Quick check it in, no credit card asked as rate had been prepaid via Expedia. Nice clean and more than adequate Superior Executive room with large bathtub in modern bathroom. Great terrace on 22nd floor, nice service, cold beers overlooking city centre. Good breakfast with good variety of hot and cold items. Staff nice and welcoming. 5 minutes by cab to SDU airport. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Perhaps would book a Superior room next time, slightly cheaper with no bathtub. Super clean, I must say. Book without hesitation.

Excellent Value for us - we received a 40% discount on Expedia. The hotel is in the best location, rooms are very nice, Excellent gym, sauna and weight room. Buffet Breakfast was top notch. Wired internet was nice. Overall, I would stay here again out of the 4 hotels we stayed at in Buenos Aires. Would want to get a discount, but still good value without.

Very nice staff, breakfast and especially good location if you´re planning on taking the buquebus to Uruguay.

Once inside, the hotel is superb...with an elegant and charming setting, it is a pleasure to dine in the restaurant with brilliant food and surroundings. The room is spacious and well appointed throughout. A first floor outdoor area is decked with some funky artworks and very well landscaped with plants....very enjoyable having drink in these surroundings. The sixth floor alongside the sauna and spas is a private area to review the sites of Buenos Aires

Very good hotel overall. Its in the city center though the neighborhood is not very safe. The rooms were clean, staff were professional.

Great Location, even so it is in front of Ave Paulista, no problems with noise. Great distribution of the room.
