This hotel is in Downtown, a busy commercial area with heavy traffic, the city like any big downtown area, may not look the best. However, I'm beyond impressed with Safi's service. At Safi Towers Hotel I ALWAYS found plenty of people at the Main counter to Check In, Check Out or to resolve any issues. While you wait there is an extra person around the lobby with a headphone looking to see if she can resolve your request/question while you wait, 80% she did. If practicing your Spanish is a bother when visiting a Spanish Speaking Country, they do speak English. There are always 2-3 bellboys around plus security personnel in case of any City/local question. I requested a nice quiet room, GRANTED. Not the best view but YES quiet, a very comfortable King bed with sun proof curtains ( I'd get up almost at noon everyday thinking it was 8AM due to how dark it got in the room) This hotel has a nice pool, jacuzzi, water slide and water fall within the Garden Area. This area is nice but noisy on days. Housekeeping was great, humble and impeccable service. Every single morning the maid would nock on your door asking if you have any laundry to wash or dry clean. Upon arrival, after greeting the maid (yes, a greeting does wonders specially to a person who's going to fix your room...) she would smile back and ask if I had any clothes to be ironed. Very Strong WiFi, I loved it...!! Bussiness Center with Copier/Scanner with free paper open 24/7 I just loved this place, definitely come back.

Have always enjoyed staying at this historical hotel in the older section (Zona Rosa) of downtown. Since my last stay, in celebration of their 100th anniversary last year, they completed extensive renovations and modernization to the rooms and infrasture but fortunately left the main lobby, dining area and general appearance that make it a truly "Grand" old hotel.area. Love being downtown where it is safe and convenient to walk around the area and enjoy old Monterrey.
