"This hotel has an old world elegance about it, something lost in most other places. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable with a special quality. It is situated centrally in Wellington cities shopping area with plenty of restaurants and cafes within short walking distance. The staff are friendly and willingly helpful. This was our third stay here. "

"Gorgeous reception area and restaurant/bar, and the room was small but very well updated. Perfect location for a quick shopping trip or to see an event in central Wellington. Well-insulated from external noises, though we were there on a weeknight, weekends might be a different story! Our Zing Queen studio room was very luxurious for a reasonable price, and I look forward to staying there again."

"This isn't a review, rather a comment. I think it'd be helpful if there were more luggage trolleys available. At check out time I asked for one to be brought to our room and after 15 mins gave up waiting. I was told later,at reception, that the one trolley that could have been available was already in use. I wondered why there was only one. I admit such trolleys are bulky. Overall our stay was good. "

"We arrived on a morning flight from Auckland at 7am. The purpose for our visit to Wellington was for the Marvel Convention for my 3yo godson. Check in was at 3pm. Staff allowed us to check into one of the rooms that was ready early. The rooms were nice and clean. The phones were down and advised reception who gave me their card and advised to ring directly to them. The view at the restaurant was beautiful. Didn’t get a chance to eat there but next time will give it a go. I highly recommend if your looking for accommodation to stay there. Restuarant, supermarket, waterfront, Te Papa all within a block of this location. The beehive is a 9minute drive. Money well spent for the one night 5 of us were there"

"We had a wonderful weekend and as I was celebrating my 60th Birthday they made it very special by leaving us a birthday platter in our room. We stayed at the Hotel because my son stayed a few weeks before and he recommended it. thankyou very much"

"Had a really nice stay here, room was nice and modern with all your standard facilities you would expect. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of options for the warm breakfast and continental breakfast. The only negative I found in the whole stay was the toilets downstairs by the food area. These were in awful condition, with what seemed like sick or some other fowl substance on the walls. Not pleasant. But still give the experience 5 stars overall"
