Maine Accommodation

Everything was excellent. The location was perfect. Within walking distance of everything downtown. The best thing was the helpfulness of the staff. They were eager to recommend restaurants and places to go. The shuttle driver gave us a mini tour on the way to a restaurant.

The Regency is perfectly located - close to so many great restaurants and funky little shops. It is also close to the waterfront. We visited Portland off season (April) and found the atmosphere quiet but not deserted - no crowds - just what we like! The staff was very nice and very helpful. We will be back!

The hotel was modern. The room could not be faulted The plus was that the Hotel. was close to the Waterfront which would be ideal for tourists. The other plus was the extremely helpful staff at reception. . It is great to get such a welcome on arrival and help during the stay .

This is a very nice hotel,super clean,car park is excellent, restaurant is very good and only $34.00 for the two of us. Will be staying their on our next visit to Bangor.

Very comfortable and clean with good bayside location

This is a beautiful hotel! The views are amazing. We got there late on a Friday night but early enough to eat at the hotel restaurant. Delicious dinner! The next evening, we asked the woman at the front desk for a restaurant recommendation. She gave us an EXCELLENT one - Fathom! She was able to get us a last minute reservation and we had the best meal. Will absolutely go back there again! After dinner, we went back to the hotel and had a few drinks at the hotel bar. The ambiance is quite nice. Even though it is May, there was a fire burning while the piano guy was playing. If there was a downside, it would have been him. He was annoying and "chatted" with everyone even if they were trying to have their own converstaion (kind of rude) but but him aside, he didn't ruin anything. I will definitely stay at Bar Harbor Hotel next time I find myself there!
