"Good place to stay in Ha Giang, a bit outside the main part of town which was both good and bad: good in that it was quieter, and less likely to be a roudy, party-like atmosphere, but this also means that you have to walk a bit to reach restaurants if you want (the hotel does have a restaurant on site, so that helps). "We had a great stay here. The room was clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was excellent, except that the coffee was not hot. I am not sure why. We stayed three nights and the coffee were never hot in the morning. We really enjoyed the area the hotel is in. During the weekend the street in front of the hotel becomes part of the city's night market and entertainment. It's not a big gathering, but enough to gave us some cultural experiences. The hotel is also in walking distances to restaurants...

"Very convenient location -- rooms overlooking the lake have a great view including the mountains (but the lake was unfortunately dry during our stay). Staff extremely helpful but almost no English. However, the manager/owner (Mr Thanh) was often around or available to consult by phone. Breakfast rather limited, though you can get Vietnamese filter coffee and milk if you know to ask for them. No lift, so you might have to walk up three flights, although staff will help you with bags."

"After 4 days riding a motorcycle around Northern Vietnam this hotel was extremely comfortable. Comfortable bed, never ending hot water, the food was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I asked for a sauna & massage, I tried telling the girls i wanted the sauna first but they had no interest in figuring out what i was saying and then my hour long massage only lasted about 40 minutes and was still charged full price. So if i had it to do over I'd stay at same...
