"We had a brilliant stay this weekend! The staff were fantastic, so helpful, kind and friendly. My husband needed extra covers as he feels the cold, and we were given another duvet. I'm disabled but there wasn't an accessible room free as it was the bank holiday, but staff went out of their way to find me a shower seat and provided a non slip rubber mat so I would be safe in the shower. There were clear warning signs in the bathroom, and notices that non slip mats were available and safety rails fitted. Breakfast was nice with a fair choice of items. The bar drink choice was a bit limited, and some areas of the building would benefit from a lick of paint, but it was excellent value for money and I would definitely stay again."

"Big family room. Huge king size bed. Friendly welcome. Good pub grub for evening meal. Choice of continental or cooked breakfast available until 9.30. We slept well. Not too much noise at all from surrounding rooms. We were room 2 away from the main bar area so WiFi was a bit intermittent in the room but good in main pub area. A good stay for the money."

"Wonderful hotel. Great customer service. Highly recommend dinner in the restaurant. Food was delicious and of good quality. Litttle tip if you stay in Room 402 which is in the court yard opposite the hotel, bring some ear plugs for the road noise. "
