"The room was clean, but the Roku was difficult to navigate, and the bathroom, while handicap accessible, has no shelving for toiletries. No place to put razor, shampoo, body wash, etc. The walls were bare of decor and everything was in shades of gray. As it rained almost the entire time we were there, it was depressing. Why not paint the rooms in lighter blues, warmer peach tones, soft yellow? Absolutely have blackout curtains for sleeping, but when people are up, and stuck indoors, they like a little cheer. As for the staff, when we visited in the early 2000s, the reception desk was helpful and gave good recommendations. This time, my husband was met with blank stares... It was actually housekeeping who went out of their way to help us with little things like towels and pillows. They were very sweet and approachable when I saw them on their cleaning rounds. We would probably stay there again, but would book earlier for a room with a view of the water."

"Fantastic location with a dog as Whalehead across the street. Ocean short walk away. Complex new and clean. Unit exactly as described and pictures. Would rent again. Not to mention 100 feet from a beach bar."

"Great beach cottage! So close to the beach (easy to walk with even young kids), town center right next to the complex (another easy walk) , and the home itself was super nice. Really appreciated how well equipped for children this home was. Very dog friendly area as well. Would definitely stay here again in the future!"

"The house was absolutely gorgeous. Short walk to the beach. Pool was great, my grandkids loved it- well kept and plenty of toys, floats, and a wagon to take to the beach! We really enjoyed ourselves! Susan, the host was amazing, she was so helpful throughout the whole process, from right after the booking through our stay! Thanks so much!!"

"The house is old and could use some updating. But that aside , the home is unkempt . Two beds had sand in the sheets. Remotes for 3 Televisions were missing. The elevator floor had not been swept or mopped for what appeared to be the entire season. The bedspreads and comforters were stained. A rug in one room, was an obvious tripping hazard, which would be a simple fix, if someone cared enough to turn it around. Lint trap in the dryer is rusted and falling apart. No trash receptacles or hand towels for the half baths. The “ welcome package” was two dishwasher pods and 2 ounces of dish soap. Ice maker was not functioning properly. The air conditioning vents and the returns a filthy and covered in dust, maybe you could have the cleaning crew look into doing a GOOD job ? Pool area was dirty. Then the elevator got stuck between floors, and two people had to climb out. It took 3 days , until the elevator was fixed. This resulted in two guests departing early, because one of them is legally disabled. All in all we referred to this place as THE HOUSE FROM HELL. For all these issues, I will seek legal advice for restitution"
