"Chindonan is located in a remote place and I had no problem getting there after being picked up at the port from the ferry - 45 minute speedboat ride. I came here for the diving and it did not disappoint. The food at the restaurant was tasty and offered a variety, including for vegetarians. All units require many steps to get there so it’s not for those who don’t want or cannot walk distances and stairs. "

"Fantastic peaceful hotel away from all the hustle and bustle of coron town. Service was excellent and friendly. Would highly recommend. As soon as we arrived we had a drink in hand which was very welcome. Decor was lovely. Food wasnt the best we've had but tasty and sufficient. Good selection of cocktails at amazing prices. "We stayed three nights are El Rio Y Mar Resort and wish we could have stayed a week. This resort is hands down the best resort we have stayed at in the Philippines. It's very secluded from the hustle and bustle of Coron yet close enough that you can still do the island hopping tours and excursions. The staff were exceptional from the time you arrive to the time you depart. The food at the ONLY restaurant was absolutely delicious. We were a bit nervous about there only being one restaurant...

"General area is quiet. There should be a designated area for smoking not in the restaurant. It took 2 days for maintenance to check on hot water temperature on the shower. Overall stay is good ."
