“extremely helpful staff ,pool ideal not to big, staf prepared to make specific requests for breakfas”

excellent for both accomadation and service . staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. rooms were cleaned every day very promptly with the minimum of fuss .I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Made the holiday”

Very friendly efficient greeting on arrival. All staff spoke to you when passing from the cleaners upto the manager. Breakfast was more than adequate to set you up for the day. Supplies were continually replenished and waiting staff always on hand to top up your tea/coffee, discreet but efficient service. Bar area very pleasant to sit and have a drink or a meal. Bar menu slightly restricted choice. Room service menu was missing from our room so cannot comment on food choice. Leisure centre very clean and pleasant staff. Having the leisure centre helped as the weather was awful and you could at least relax in the pool/jacuzzi/sauna or steam room. Beauty treatments were available book early as time slots were very limited during our stay.

“Surprise Convient Hotel”

“Good Value”

Reception staff excellent - room ok - bathroom excellent. Food and beverage facilty and service only average for a 4* rating. My wife used the Spa facility - staff there excellent.

“Humm . . .”

Well, the hotel was nice however the rooms didnt have working air conditioning. That truly was the only major drawback. Other than that, everything went reasonably well.

“A very relaxing stay”

Our first room was fantastic. So much so, we booked with this hotel again on our return trip. The room was spacious, modern and very comfortable and the experience was completed with a very relaxing bath. The second room was just as nice but our expectations weren't met when we discovered there wasn't a bath. This wasn't a huge disappointment though as the staff at this hotel were very helpful and welcoming.

“A good base”

The hotel was excellent - a useful base for exploring East Cork. However, it felt like more of a 'business' or 'corporate' venue than a holiday hotel ... having said that, staff were helpful, breakfast was excellent and the room very comfortable.
