“Nice”
Nice location, ask for a room away from the street
“Will return again”
This is an elegant hotel staffed by some of the friendliest people you can find. The room was very good if a little 'tired' in it's decor but clean and good sized(and it's about time all hotels had walk-in showers). The breakfast is a feast with plenty of choice and cooked to order. Having a separate bar and restaurant on site is great although you are within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants. The only irksome problem is parking, it's not onsite and is a pain- as you know it'll rain and you have to a 3/5mins walk to and from the carpark. That said I would happily return again and give the hotel a top recommendation
“Great Experience”
The Imperial Hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Cork. The hotel is located just a couple of blocks from the bus station, as well as within walking distance of shopping and dining. I would highly recommend this hotel as it was convenient, exceptionally clean, the staff was very helpful, and the location was excellent.
“roll on next time”
We went to Cork to watch a football match but managed so much more in the 2 days. Hotel was fabulous we stay in a lot of so called 4 star hotels the Imperial definately is. It is very central near the English market well worth a visit, also near the shops a little on the expensive side but worth a look. On the downside take an umbrella it rains a lot.
“I'd love for my bedroom at home to be like this hotel room.”
The hotel is beautiful - restaurents were modern w/charm and the food was lovely. The included breakfast was a pleasant surprise in variety. Bathroom has radiant floor heating - what a treat! Not enough lighting in the bathroom - my husband shaved very slowly. The pool is not available to hotel guests - it belongs to the Spa, thus you need to pay extra to use it. Location is excellent - right in the centre of Cork. Excellent shopping, close to bus station so you can travel easily to other attractions.
“Fantastic central Cork City location”
Fantastic central location, straight out the door into the city centre. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lobby and entrance area very impressive, lots of character. Only negative point was very very noisy extractor fan in the bathroom which automatically turned on when bathroom light was turned on, plus the outside of the window looked like it had never been cleaned.
“would stay again”
great location
“Geat”
Lovely hotel
“Very Impressed”
A very old but 'posh' hotel with a 'wow' factor when you arrive through the double fronted doors. Flowers everywhere and a warm welcome with helpful staff throughout. A visit to the vitality suite (with a discount for residents) is a must!
“Enjoyed stay”
Hotel was overall very good - excellent location near to bus and train station and the main shopping centre.Plenty of places nearby to eat and drink.
