“Good for stop-overs”
Used this hotel as a quick stop-over when travelling via Copenhagen airport. Good value, straighforward, good facilities, near the airport.
“Airport Hotel”
All in all, a good airport hotel. 2 stops on the metro (which we weren't expecting for an airport hotel??) and quite soul-less but then, it was perfect for what we wanted. Arrived at the airport late and didn't want to travel into Copenhagen that evening so booked into Park Inn. Friendly staff, clean hotel, nice food in restaurant (both evening meal and breakfast), Pool & Sauna fine. Nothing special about it as a hotel (so, no reason to return), but certainly no reason not to stay there again.
“Good place to stay near airport”
The Park Inn has a friendly staff, a nice restaurant, and an excellent fitness center. I would recommend it to those coming in on a long flight who just want to make it to a hotel and rest straight away. While you are considerably outside of the city in this area, there is a nice beach nearby and you are only a 150DKK cab ride from the center of Copenhagen.
“Park Inn by Radisson”
Very convenient for the Airport and also for the city centre. The Metro link is only 50 meters away. Excellant breakfast. Other meals as in the rest of Denmark very dear. Avery clean well kept hotel.
“A pretty basic room”
Although close to the airport, which was what I needed, the room was pretty basic. And, it was hot in Copenhagen (surprise), but the hotel had no air conditioning and when you opened the windows, it was noisy outside. The breakfast buffet was very good by European standards. If you want basic and convenient, this will do.
“Good if you have an early flight--not impressed in general.”
The hotel is decent if you have an early flight (it's only about 5 minutes from the airport). The gym is outstanding and has every type of machine and equipment. The standard rooms were not comfortable and were not very clean. The hotel is far from the center and public transportation from its location is not easy (thus you must take a taxi to get there). I would recommend this hotel for travelers with an early flight.
“Being built, but has ideal location”
The Park Inn is currently undergoing a massive refurbishment. There is scaffolding everywhere and the plumbing leaves a lot to be desired as our room flooded from the drain in the floor everytime we used the sink tap. However, when the hotel is built it has an ideal location. Just 5mins on metro to the airport and 10mins to the city centre on the metro. So I would say wait another 12months and this will be a great hotel for a short visit to Copenhagen. But for now AVOID!
“Remodeling”
This hotel is in the midst of major remodeling and the lobby is full of dust which got in my eyes. The workers started work very early in the morning which precluded us from sleeping late. The mattress on the bed was very soft and lumpy. The heavy blanket on the queen bed was for one person only. Another blanket had to be taken out of a cabinet for the second person.
“A non-smokers nightmare”
This hotel has a number of advantages - right next to the Metro station with easy access to the center of Copenhagen as well as the airport; breakfast is outstanding; in walking distance of the beach. Unfortunately the negatives far outweigh the positives: the hotel is undergoing MAJOR construction; expensive; wifi doesn't quite work as advertised; did not honor our reservation of non-smoking rooms; noisy and smelly.
“it was alright -”
the thing that was very disappointing was that we had an early flight out of copenhagen and they gave me a flat out "no" when i asked if we could get something to eat before we left - i thought they could have tried a little harder to be a little more accommadating considering what i was paying for the rooms and that there were 6 people in my group. also, i can't wait for european hotels to not reek of cigarette smoke even on the "non-smoking" floors.
