“great hotel good maintain property...”

We had extended family members needing a hotel for one night. The hotel is very clean, and kept up to date.Great Staff, Clean Beautiful Rooms, True Hospitality, Reasonable Rates, Good Restaurant near by and next to the fairgrounds whatelse you want!!!!!!!!!!.We had a chance to stay at the hotel.The hotel and staff were wonderful and very kind to tired travelers.Our room was very quiet, and we slept well.The rooms are very large, even larger than some deluxe hotels that I've stated in recently. The beds are not "custom," but are extremely comfortable. The rooms are tastefully designed, with a microwave and mini-refrigerator, nice.The hotel provides a good breakfast in the morning. It also provides free WiFi and a free parking.I like to come back this motel.

“Cheap stay close to night life”

The hotel was a good deal for the price. Room was what we needed. Only down point: the cleaning lady knocked loudly on the door at 10 am to make sure we were up and would check out by 11 am. And when we opened the door she wasn't at all nice. Other than that, everything was ok.

you may find this hotel as a good place to stay for days. if you are expecting a nice looking fancy hotel, days inn at fairground is not the right one, however, I stayed here about four days, and felt this place is very comfortable and quite close distance to osu(takes about 15~20 mins by walk) guys working here are all nice and friendly. this place could be one of your good choice at relatively cheaper price among others.

room appeared clean and everything was in working order except for the door not staying shut without the deadbolt. no one bothered us, close to the highway.

The room was basic, the sink and tub had slow drrains, I stuck my finger on a pin that was hoding the side hem of the curtains

“Low end Budget Hotel”

Check-in and check-out were the best part of the trip. After not getting any helpful suggestions on where to have dinner from the desk clerk, we were left to drive around a city we did not know in order to find a good restaurant. We drove for over a hour and finally found an Applebee's. When we got back to the hotel and turned in for the night, we tried to leave a wake-up call for the next morning. The phone call to the front desk was never answered. It was left to ring MANY times. W waited until later, thinking that maybe the night crew would be there to answer the phone. When we called back, we got a busy sigbal for the rest of the night (maybe someone either turned the phones off or left the receiver off the hook). Good thing one of our guys is a light sleeper. The next morning, the FREE contintental breakfast consisted of juice, coffee or tea and pastries (old) and apples. What a way to start the day. But, we should have known better than to expect anything more. I was so frustrated when I phoned to make the reservation cause the desk clerk couldn't understand me nor I him. That's why I went to expedia and I'm not sorry I did. Good work you guys. But I don't think we will stay there on our next visit to Columbus. Nuff Said! 3/27/2011

“Great Value”

Great hotel for the price. Beds are extremely comfortable. Haven't slept that good in a long time. Overall a very good experience!

“Good place to stay for the price”

This hotel was very convenient to the Ohio State Fairgrounds where we were showing our horse. Our room had a somewhat stale cigarette smell about it, I had requested a non smoking room. Also, the pool was closed but we were given a slip to swim at the pool at the hotel next door. The free breakfast was danishes and muffins, juice, coffee. Overall, for the price it was a good deal.
