“all you could want”
nice hotel clean and quiet within walking distance to city centre . were able to self cater if wanting to as had kitchenette starting point for our 3 week holiday so were happy
“CHCH oasis.”
There is nothing to complain about. It's located within a nice walk of the CBD. Everything is clean and comfortable. The spa tub is not only large but deep. It's a great hotel to stay at. I highly recommend it.
“Beautiful & Modern”
Our family of 3 stayed at the Salerno Motel in February 2012. The room was absolutely gorgeous and our hosts were very helpful. The location is close to central Christchurch.

Great location. Easy to get to from the airport. Close to a couple of good restaurants. Owners are very friendly and helpful.
“Very nice hotel and wonderful owners”
Stayed over at Salerno for one night on the way to Queenstown. Hotel is clean and immaculate. Room was nice and beds comfortable. Location is walking distance to restaurants. Owners were friendly and generous. We missed our bus to Queenstown in the morning, and both husband and wife went way out of their way to help us book a flight and stored our luggage for us so that we can take a tour of what is left over of Christchurch. Sad to see so much devastation. We would definetely stay there again if we happen to be in Christchurch and certainly recommend it to others without hesitation.

“Good to Go”
Very tidy unit. Motel has been booked out for some time so it must have something good. Plenty of free parking. The sink was on a 5 degrees lean so the water would not drain out. Appears that the mgmt are very aware and two units have this problem. Not good for shaving or cleaning teeth as the dirty water doesn't drain away. Also the motel has no air conditioning which means it was great for CHCH in December but I won't be staying there in Feb or March - I will go straight to one with an a/c.
