"This is an Old Florida property that has nice old Florida style appeal and is pleasant. It appears they are doing some renovations as painting but it also needs some modern up grades and it could be a very nice nostalginc place to stay. But right now it was a good value stay for the price."

"It was a great choice for our group. It is very quiet and remote. No hustle and bustle which was a nice break. The house was perfect and had great views. We spent most of our time on the closed in back porch or back deck, when we were not on the dock or out in the boat. We saw manatees, turtles, fish and jumping sturgeons. The local restaurant, Treasure Cove has great food and also has entertainment on Saturday night. They serve breakfast Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We biked there from the house and it’s a 10 min walk. We biked the Lower Suwannee and spent a day in Cedar key. Bring what you need since there are no close stores. Linens were plentiful. Our host was very responsive and friendly."

"Shocked that this was called renovated. Rust inside microwave, stove, coffee pot, etc. Dried food inside stove. Mold on a/c unit. Remotes without batteries. No instructions for fans, remotes, etc. Rips in porch screens. Screen door mechanism off laying on the sill. Dock has had no maintenance. No bulb in light and top missing with critters living inside. Sink doesn’t work and drain completely clogged with debris. Beds were great. Bedding clean and comfortable. Floor and bathroom was clean. Very concerned that dishes were to have been washed and returned to the shelf by prior guests. How is that considered sanitary. I don’t think if the occupants were fishermen they’d clean glasses appropriately. Plus the sponge at the sink was filthy."

"Hosts were wonderful - great communication and smooth check-in. The home had plenty of space for our group. There were nice outdoor spaces to take advantage of the beautiful river location. This is not a new house so don’t expect perfection, but clean, has everything you need and is a good value. We had a great stay."
