“Family Friendly Atmosphere”
The Best Western Chicago West is an incredibly family friendly hotel. They were beyond helpful, especially when they had no record of the reservation I made through Expedia. They checked us in right away and made sure we had everything we needed. On the way to the room we passed the beautiful atrium located in the center of the hotel. In it was the pool and spa. There was also a huge area with vending machines, picnic tables, games and other activities. It was a great place to hang out and relax or play with your kids. We loved the pool and play area. The room was very neat and clean. It was also very well stocked, which four weary travellers appreciated. I would recommend this hotel this hotel to any family travelling to Chicago.

“Nice out of the way spot...”
My wife and is stayed at the Best Western Chicago West hotel during our four-day trip to the Wizard World Comic Convention. The trip was very enjoyable and what was nice about the hotel was that it was only 15 minutes away from the Donald E. Stephens convention center in Rosemont, and yet it was in a small and convenient location to make it close by AND quiet. The staff was helpful and friendly and the arrangement of the restaurant and pool areas were sophisticated enough to make the stay feel like we weren't necessarily near a big bustling city. And because the hotel wasn't within walking distance of the convention center, the nightly rates were very fair. I recommend this location to anyone traveling to Chicago in need of a few nights rest and/or to anyone going to a similarly large event.
“Great Stay”
The stay couldn't have been better. Very nice pool, the room was small but clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was very friendly. For the price you can't beat it!
“Would love to go back”
The people at reception were very friendly and helpful. I think im going back again on business in the future and will pick the same hotel.
“Good hotel”
This hotel was beautiful and we got the pool/hot tub to ourselves for both nights we were there. The cleanliness was pretty good but there were crumbs in our room when we first checked in. We were going to stay only one night, with the hotel already paid for, but we decided to stay another night and they raised the price $30! That was a disappointment, but overall the hotel was good and it was in a great spot as well.
“Good value”
The hotel staff was very friendly and prompt in response to our requests. The room and beds were comfortable and clean. Shuttle service to the airport was a big plus. The hot tub wasn't running and I didn't receive the wake-up call I had asked for, but overall a very good value for your money.
“Nice”
This was a nice hotel, but the restaurant was just okay. It was more important for the restaurant personnel to feed her own family than to take care of the hotel guests. After she went to the breakfast line and filled up 3 plates of food for her own famiy, she finally got around to taking care of the guests. Other than the restaurant, the hotel was clean and nice, the pool was clean, but the hot tub was broken.
“'Fine for a night.”
Check in was fast and friendly. Room was fine. Only problem was there was an employment agency call for workers at the hotel with about 300 men in the hallways waiting to fill in work applications. Took a while to get in and out of my room.
“Cheap and convenient”
Perfect for a night prior to taking the plane from O'hare.
