“Good location”
Good location. Clean and tidy. The room is neither large nor small.
“Club sized room”
Very nice hotel and in a great location. We got a club sized room which was small, but if you are busy and doing all of the sight seeing the size of the room is perfect. The only downfall of a club sized room is there was no mini refrigerator, so you could not keep leftovers from dinners. The location of the guest ice machine was confusing but just ask the front desk they are very helpful.
“Great location, nice rooms, and helpful staff”
I stayed here while attending a conference at McCormick Place. The hotel is in a very pleasant and convenient location, near to plenty of shops and restaurants. It was clean and stylish, and the staff were always very approachable and helpful. My room had a widescreen TV, coffee maker, microwave and fridge. It was perhaps a bit on the small side for some people's taste, but I felt it was perfectly adequate. The en-suite bathroom had a good shower and was clean, but perhaps also a little on the small side. There was also free wi-fi (which was of a decent speed), free printing, and free coffee. There did seem to be a lot of perks and freebies! Overall, I was very happy with this hotel, and I will look out for it if I ever go back to Chicago.
“Great location, friendly staff”
The location is super good with a good view of the river. The Italian restaurant downstairs is always busy. Very easy to reach the most popular areas of the loop and within 10 minutes' walk to the CAT station. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is small but well equiped. There is one sightseeing bus stop just cross the street and is strongly suggested.
“Definitely Stay Here”
We found this to be a great place to stay and would stay there again. Location very good.
“Bargain in the heart of Chicago”
The room was very small, which we already expected. It was perfect for what we needed. We were there to see Chicago, not a hotel room, and yet it was simple, clean, and very comfortable. 2nd time staying with them and will do it again.
“Awesome Location, Great Hotel”
The location is absolutely perfect! Great view out of the hotel...we stayed in a suite so the room was not small as stated in other rooms, but you are in Chicago!!! Get out there and enjoy the city : ) Also, had deep dish pizza at the restruant downstairs and it was great!
“Small rooms, small price - big value!”
Great place - small rooms, small price, but a great value for Chicago. Second time we have stayed here, and will be making reservations for same hotel for 2013.
“Much more than what I expected.”
I booked this room due to the convenience (Walker and Michigan right by the river) and cost. Check in was easy, the staff were excellent with outstanding customer service, and the hotel itself was very clean and well maintained. Though the room was quite small by US standards, I found it to be 'cozy' and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable, bed linens/pillows/comforter were of high quality, the bathroom (only an enlarged shower) was clean and more than adequate, the windows opened for fresh air, and most importantly, it was quiet. Additionally, they have refilled bottled water on the floors, a 'comfort' closet where people can pick up extra supplies, and good coffee in the room (Keurig). I need to be in Chicago again during this summer, and will definitely use this hotel.
“our room was so small but nice”
I've never been in a hotel room quite so small-but it was nicely done. The Expedia description said the room would have a sofa/sofa bed which it did not. The clerk who met us at the front door (very small lobby also) was very accommodating and arranged for a roll away to be sent up which it was. But there was barely room for it-thankfully we were only staying one night. We came with three people instead of two and the clerk did not try to charge us or make an issue of it-so we felt it was pretty much a wash. The Direct tv kept going out in our room. The restaurant right downstairs off the lobby, Bella Bacino's (I think) was very good-really good Chicago pizza-but not as good as Gino's; good breakfast-a little different choices for a change. There were computers in the lobby for use and we were able to get access to them without much wait.
