“Right on the River”

This is a gorgeous luxury hotel right on the river, but it is a short drive from Chiang Rai or any other site. It would be a relaxing base camp if you had transportation or a wonderful retreat if you wanted a quiet place to relax for a couple of days. It was really enchanting to watch the river flow by, but there is not a lot else to do. The staff helped me arrange a tour that picked me up at the hotel, and that was convenient and interesting.
