“Chester races - ladies night”
Great stay. The lady who greeted us on arrival deserves special mention. She also worked behind the bar. Rare to experience customer service as good as that these days
“Service was exemplary!”
We booked the hotel for a birthday night out in Chester ( just 2 miles away) and weren't disappointed. Upon arrival the hotel looks unimpressive, but once inside that all changes. The staff could not have been more helpful , we asked about places to visit , they arranged taxis and were generally exceptional. The rooms were clean and tidy, most and light. The breakfast was excellent and well worth taking advantage of. if you are going to Chester and don't want to spend a fortune, this hotel is a cracking little bargain.
“Excellent Holiday Inn”
All staff were amazingly friendly, breakfast was really good and the hotel was the perfect location for a night out into Chester with somewhere decent to stay.
“Impressed!”
Booked a last minute 'saver room', didn't expect much for what we paid but I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was nice and quiet and all expected amenities included. We had full use of pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Ventured into the bar and sampled the food, again very pleased with food and service. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would recommend a stop over stay at this hotel. Brilliant location for a shopping stop over or a night out.
“I would recommend a stay here to anyone”
The staff were really helpful and accommodating. Great location only a few miles from Chester Zoo and the City Centre.
“Your ideal place to stay, while visiting Chester.”
Our family of 4[3 adults& 1/5yr old] had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very handy to Chester, and to the south. We will be recommending it to any of our friends and family, wishing to stay in Chester.
“Value For Money”
While basically clean, there were signs of mould around the bath tub. After a complaint the first day, the bathroom was thoroughly cleaned. The room, on the West wing, did have a musty smell. The Staff were polite and helpful and the swimming pool was a welcomed bonus. The location was good with a nearby park-and-ride for travel into the city centre.
“Fantastic Food”
I travel a lot for work and was booked into this hotel with some trepidation, and whilst the room was fine as was the Internet WiFi (which I've always found to be tempramental), it was the food that set the hotel apart. The restaurant was, quite simply, first class, and although I asked for some stuff not even on the menu, they were pleased to help. Food and wine was very good!
“great value for money”
Good location if wanting to explore Wales as well as shopping malls.
“Just like the UK cycle team take your own pillows”
Check in was quick. Room had HD tv and was a good size. Despite having soft and hard pillows they were both uncomfortable. Pool was very nice. Gym had aerobic equipment but weight machines were limited and those they had were difficult to resize, Not enough showers (2)
