False advertising. The pictures are old and misleading. We left two days earlier because the smell from the toilet was making us sick. The issues/false advertising were: 1.  Not waterfront.  There is no partial oven view from any room.  The beach picture are down the road.   2.  Pictures are not current of the property.  The property is much older and worn than shown. 3.  Very dirty - door knobs, light switches, garbage can, remote, doors, etc. 4.  Towels and bedding is old and stained. 5.  Bathroom smelled and stunk up the entire room.  All the halls smelled like sewer. 6.  Not furnished as pictured.  No lamps.  Not even a desk chair to set on.  When we asked for a chair in the room, we were brought a plastic stool. 7.  There is no working safe in the room and it is not bolted down. 8.  The price was twice what locals pay who know the poor condition.  It was the same price as the ones that really look like their pictures and are closer to the beach. Would not recommend until the pictures are updated and it is priced according to the amenities and condition.

This is a nice, small hotel, about half a block from the beach. It has a well maintained swimming pool, the lobby is kept neat and clean. It is not a fancy place, but at the price per night is a great deal. We enjoyed 8 days here, had a great time walking along the beach and looking at the many small shops nearby. There are lots of good places to eat within a five minute walk.

We have stayed at My House many times over the years. Seen it change hands and the new owners have been accommodating. Close to the beach. The front desk has always tried to be helpful.

Pet friendly
This hotel is before hua hin and we chose it based on being dog friendly. It's near the beach so great for long walks. We had no trouble with street dogs. Lots of restaurant nearby. Has an elevator and parking under the hotel. We walked everywhere. Breakfast in in the restaurant beach front so can sit and eat with a view.

Over all it was nice experience, room is as expected, quite spacious and beds are comfy - TV with very little channels but who's watching. Pool is a bit small and feels like a bath tub as it is surrounded by the rooms and has little sun reaching it; Room balcony door doe snot sound proof the outside noise so if you are clubbing no issues, you will like the disturbing noise of the cheap speakers from the street facing you, but if you have kids then i recommend you chose rooms in the back side. Staff are helpful only if they understood English - look for an amazing staff called Beau (she speaks English, French and Thai obviously and she is very helpful). Over all I would go back again and maybe push the cleaners to clean the toilets well.

No clean drinking glasses in a week, upgrade was a joke! Moldy grouting, smell coming from bathroom drain. Have been booking rooms at this hotel for over 10 years and never so disappointed. Under new management! We don’t believe we will be returning!

Thanks for your review even if we don't agree with you. If you are a regular customer, you know the size of rooms, nothing has changed. The time of your stay is a very specific time : New Year. We don't "overrate". As you booked a room with those prices, we don't understand your comment.

Hidden dimensions
Hotel was excellent. Didn't look great from the front but like a tardis had hidden dimensions. Nice room opening onto the swimming pool deck. Street outside full of bars and restaurants but not too loud especially as my room faced the back. 3 minutes walk to the beach. What more could you want?

My House
Nice place short walk from beach , shops and restaurants. Front rooms can be a bit noisy at night owing to nearby bars. Nice pool which gets the sun until 1600. Roof area is under utilised and could be made in to a nice terrace area

Repeat offender returns again!
I’ve been staying at “My House” for a decade, watched it develop and improve. Stayed in the new deluxe suites at the back this time, pool side because with friends. Lovely to have the pool, Monkey Bar right outside the hotel, beach a 109m down the road. It’s where I love to come to relax!

The hotel is fine, location is good,close to beach, restaurants and entertainment,the only thing I can fault is the WiFi,it comes and goes at Will,but the hotel is clean, the rooms are big,if you go to bed early you better get a room at the back,as the bars at the front play music very loud until around midnight,all in all I would stay here again,nice swimming pool ☺

Value for money
My house hotel is value for money ,rooms are excellent everything you need . The staff were great couldtn of done enough for me . Rooms cleaned daily ...real family run hotel ..swimming pool nice and close to all restaurants and bars . Can't wait to go back .

Pleasant budget hotel near beach and bars
Spent 4 days in a pool side room , very pleasant stay. My one complaint would be the lack of a kettle , I need a coffee in the morning to get going.

Excellent hotel in great location with great staff
I stayed with my wife and 3 yr old daughter.The hotel is very clean and new.The staff were always very helpful and the house keeping was exceptional.We originaly booked 2 nights but like everything about the hotel and Cha Am so much we have been here now nearly 1 week. I highly recomend this hotel to all types of tourist.

Stayed for 5 nights. Mainly Thai holiday area and little English spoken. Room was fine and at the back of the hotel overlooking the pool - quieter than it the front where there are some bars that can be noisy. Convenient for the beach, bars and restaurants.

Pool under renovation
Nice guesthouse on soi busstation with a pool, rare in this area. But it was, as we noticed when we arrived, closed due to renovation. We might not have booked if we knew. The price was not reduced accordingly, as i have stayed here many times i have compared prices. Breakfast included in a nearby restaurant. Nice and clean, but staff could not understand that i wanted to buy extra items when i asked for breakfast menu. Only "no,no, not include" so i ended up with small glas OJ, sausage, a cold fried egg.coffee, jam and butter and 2 pcs of bread. Ok but not the best.
