"Disappointing and misleading experience I understand the credit may have been outside the official policy, but the way it was handled was very frustrating. I had to leave one night early and asked at reception whether the unused night could be credited. The person at the desk told me it would be credited, but later the hotel denied the credit through Expedia. If the answer was no, they should have said that clearly at the time. Being told one thing in person and then having the request denied later felt misleading and left a bad impression."

"Reception area really overwhelming with such a bad smell. The staff member was so grumpy and offered no help not advice. Didn’t advise about opening hours etc not checking out. No hair dryer in the apartment so had to return to her and she was clearly in a rush handed the dryer and said to return it to reception when leaving. No where to leave it at 7am. Not at all helpful "

"Notre séjour à Empuriabrava s'est bien déroulé et la villa était plutôt agréable MAIS il y a des petites choses qui mériteraient d'être revues pour que ce soit parfait et pour justifier le tarif demandé (1600 la semaine fin avril, début mai). Villa très bien située, quartier calme, plage et commerces-restaurants à 15-20 minutes à pieds.Villa bien agencée, espace extérieur très bien pensé (piscine-terrasse-barbecue), maison bien équipée MAIS tout mériterait d'être mieux entretenu. La piscine avec jaccuzi est agréable mais la cascade ne fonctionne pas et le fond n'est pas nickel. L'homme d'entretien debarque à l'improviste. Plusieurs endroits abîmés et coupants, studio exterieur très humide et mauvaise odeur, studio à l'étage super mais il y a beaucoup de fourmis. Pas de volet roulant ou de rideau sur les portes vitrées (pensez au masque pour mieux dormir car la piscine est éclairée toute la nuit) Ménage correct mais pas approfondi, mon beau-frère s'est planté un morceau de verre dans le pied sur la terrasse près de la piscine. Pour ce prix là il faut rajouter 20 par personne pour les draps et les serviettes (c'est énorme) mais l'hôte a tout de même été arrangeant et accepté notre animal au dernier moment sans supplément, il est réactif et disponible. La personne qui nous a accueillis pour la remise des clés a été disponible et agréable. C'était un bon séjour dans une villa pas mal mais qui mériterait quelques travaux et un peu plus d'entretien pour justifier son prix."

"If you need a self-catering option at the north (non-beach) end of town near the aérodrome, this is a good one. There are two supermarkets and a petrol station in a one block radius and the rooms are fairly big. They were very slow to reply to messages on Expedia and I had to track down a private email address. Check-in outside of office hours can be difficult due to staff shortages (contact them well in advance to arrange this). But a good option and good value for money."
