"This site is definitely off the beaten track but not far from Cefalu where we went to visit. When we checked in the host told us about an local festival going on that evening so we walked the 8 minutes to the site of then festival and were able to sample some of the local cuisine. Every morning we awoke to the sound of bells from the local sheep herds. On Sunday morning we attended Mass at the local parish where we were part of a 50 year wedding celebration. "Lovely restful property in pretty countryside surrounded by a vineyard. Great food in the on-site restaurant. Excellent breakfasts too. Freindly and helpful staff. Only downside was the lack of drawers in the room. Most people seem to stay a few nights (we say the same faces repeatedly), so it was odd that our room had nowhere to properly unpack as I would expect for a three night stay."
