“Good stay in Cassis”

We had a great experience at this hotel. The location is superb for walking into town and to Colanques. I speak very little French but most of the staff spoke enough English for us to communicate. They were even kind enough to request a taxi for me for the ride to the train station. I highly recommend this hotel for those on a limited budget!

“Good quality convenient hotel in lively sea port”

The hotel was very convenient with less than a 5 minute walk down to the harbour. Room was spacious with large comfortable bed and small pool and lounger area was a wonderful sun trap. Breakfast is served with a glorious sea view. The town itself has a really good atmosphere, and is ideal for just wandering around or sitting in a harbourside cafe watching the world go by in the sun

“Good value for location and comfort”

The location was great, within a short walk of the marina, restaurants, shopping, the weekly market - and also on the way to the path to walk along a calanque or two. The staff was helpful, storing our luggage, showing us maps, calling cab for train station, giving us tips for the walking tour. As with most Cassis tourist hotels, you do need to get a cab to and from the train station, especially with luggage (hill, narrow winding roads). From the hotel, it is a short walk downhill to the marina, where their is a lot to do, from dining to shopping to watching a game of Boules. We enjoyed watching the fishermen unloading their still-flopping catch (for sale) onto tables, and also the Tuesday morning market near the town hall. And the Calanques boat tour. The hotel is also close to the roads that lead to the walking tour above the calanques, especially the easy St.-Exupery trail.

Very handy for the port and friendly staff. Quiet.
