"OK, Not Great"
This place is tough to get to, if you're walking from the train or bus. It is up a very steep hill, and I use a walker for mobility issues. The room was clean, and the staff were all kind and helpful. Our very limited Italian language skills were not a problem, as all front desk staff spoke at least some English. Breakfast was typical, with several tasty pastry choices, but little protein. No other meals are served on the premises. My husband and I both found the mattress to be pretty hard, but that is a matter of preference, not a fault. There are supermarkets and other necessities nearby, and the desk staff will call for food delivery, if you want something. There is no elevator, so the gentleman on the desk put us in a ground floor, accessible room, even though they had originally booked us a room higher up.

"A great place to stay."
Loved my stay here. I did 2 weeks in a bungalow. It was very clean and tidy with a patio area. Would recommend you bring a travel kettle if you want to make your own hot drinks as none of the Rome hotels seem to offer this facility. Takes about 15 minutes to get into Rome by train but is easy enough once you have done it once. The hotel staff are really friendly and the information area has bilingual members of staff. The shop provides most of the basics and there is a grocery store across the main road. Would definately recommend this park and will be staying again myself. Do mind the road though. Use the hotel airport pick up service as it was cheaper than the taxi I got when I first got there. Transport tickets are available from the information centre for buses, trains and metro and you can also book day trips out from there.

"Romantic Hideaway Just Far Enough Outside Rome!"
The ONLY complaint that my wife & I had about our recent stay at Castello della Castelluccia was that we did not stay long enough!!! If anyone is looking for a wonderfully romantic getaway just outside of Rome...Castello della Castelluccia is "THE PLACE"! The grounds, the rooms, the dining, the staff - all !st Class 100%. Easy 2-minute drive to train station brings you into heart of Rome. Breakfast Buffet and Dinner were outstanding. If ONLY once, well worth it.

"Rome road trip- Rest and Recovery"
Its not a hotel more of an updated "Butlins" type camp, it was very early in the season - March so not everything was ready for summer. To be fair it looked as if it had grown over the years and you would call it mature rather than old. The staff were very helpful, multilingual so language not really a problem. Its within walking distance of railway station for Rome central and just off Rome ring road. I was touring by motorcycle and it made a good stop over recovery location for a few days. The site also takes cyclist, campers, motor-homes even tour-buses.I would like to go back again possibly when its a bit warmer.

Pocket Guide: Rome Cassia - Giustiniana Hotels

Historically an important Roman road that broke off from Via Flaminia, Via Cassia today is a largely residential area, along with the nearby area around Via della Giustiniana. Part of Via Cassia borders a segment of the striking Veio National Park, with its ancient Etruscan ruins including the ancient town of Veii, beautiful woodlands, and varied wildlife.
