Hotel is a one star small family run business right across from a beautiful sweep of sand and the blue Mediterranean. Our room window looked out onto the beach and we woke up to this each morning. The family who run the Hotel are extremely friendly and helpful ( and speak excellent English). Breakfasts were plentiful and the evening meals we had in the restaurant were excellent examples of good French cuisine.
The rooms are sparse but cleaned every morning and clean towels put out. Montpellier - an old French centre of culture and architecture - is nearby and easy to get to by tramway. The beautiful Camargue countryside around is aching to be discovered, so a hired car is necessary. Great place for a quiet yet intensely rewarding holiday if that is what is required.
We stayed in this hotel for two nights. The gentleman who booked us in - we presumed to be the owner - was extremely helpful and friendly. All floors are served by a lift which is great. Our room was clean and comfortalbe, with air conditioning, cable tv and the small bathroom was also clean with plenty of towels. The pool area is well maintained - parking and Wi-Fi are free here - a huge bonus in a French hotel. The beach is just a few minutes from the hotel and the town centre is a 10 - 15 minute level walk away through a pleasant marina, with plentiful shops and restaurants.
