Park Inn by Radisson Cardiff North is conveniently located just 3 miles from Cardiff City Centre on the A48. A multi million pound refurbishment completed in 2009 has seen this hotel upgraded to a high standard. There are 132 spacious en-suite bedrooms designed for comfort and convenience. All have air conditioning, safe big enough to hold a laptop, wifi access, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, multi channel LCD television and fabulous rainfall showers in the bathrooms.
The RBG restaurant has an extensive menu with mouth watering specialities with a focus on providing healthy, convenient, affordable food from the charcoal grill. Free range chicken, organic salmon, the best gourmet burgers, tempting shakes and cocktails...
There are 10 conference and meeting rooms with a main suite accommodating up to 250 delegates, all have natural daylight and air-conditioning. Wifi access is available throughout. There is a large grassed area at the rear of the hotel, ideal for team building activities, BBQs, family activities or just relaxation.
The hotel offers a fitness suite and an attractive therapy room offering a range of treatments which can be pre-booked.

“Better than expected”
Really nice room, newly renovated, open plan, good beds/duvets/pillows. Great bathroom. Breakfast very good (except for coffee & juice!)Leisure facilities a bit dodgy! Tiles around pool grimy & mouldy & changing rooms & showers horrible! (Can't believe people pay to be members of this gym!)All in all though very good value for money & very well positioned - into Cardiff centre in 5 mins, but not on a grotty industrial estate. Would stay here again.
“This hotel makes every pound spent in there”
Pretty nice hotel, seems to be refurbished, good sized bedroom and clean with functional facilities, excellent food (we only had dinner, I don't know about breakfast). About 5 minutes walking there is a bus stop and in 15-20 min you can reach Cardiff city centre. The only bed point I would say is wi-fi internet it's a ridiculous £14.00 charge for 24 hours. Absolutely recommend to everyone and I would like to go back one day.

Excellent welcome on check in. A long wait for a table at dinner one evening although there appeared to be empty tables.

Decent hotel approx 10 minutes in a taxi from City Centre.Cost about £10 each way to by the Castle. Good restaurant in the hotel and friendly bar. Easily located off A48M.
“I loved Cardiff, hotel was fine!”
Good clean hotel room. We stayed here when it was totally full, wedding going on, gymnastics and U2 at the stadium. Reception was very quick, thankfully. Room had a wet patch on the floor in the corner, but we didn't bother to complain about it, it was clearly just spilt water and there were no other rooms to switch to. Bathroom is fab, but bring your own toiletries - no conditioner for your hair. Bed is huge, but I would have prefered more pillows and an extra blanket. Taxi into city centre was about GBP 11 and 15 back (lucky to get one so quickly!). If you want drinks, just the machines, the bar prices are HUGE - GBP 1.75 for a coke! This hotel is fine to stay - I would go back but not at the same price - the rates triple with an event at the stadium. Go to the Dr Who exhibition - it's FAB!

“Good value hotel”
Good hotel if you did not want to be in city centre, with good bus access.
“Nice enough hotel, poor customer service”
The restaurant staff was exceptional, but the front desk attendants were less than helpful and sometimes even quite rude. They also knew very little about the area (I needed a chemist nearby). I won't stay there again, there are plenty of other locations with much friendlier staff.
