“Great Hotel and friendly staff.”
Great Hotel in the heart of the action.
“Excellent standard of service.”
Great location and excellent staff. Unfortunately our first night was ruined by a party in the next room at 4a.m. In fairness the staff stopped it after I rang reception but the slamming of doors went on for over an hour. Pity really because the next night was perfect.

Hotel in great location and very clean, check-in was quick and easy, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and well equiped but the most important thing of all are the staff who are very friendly, helpful and attentive to your every need also nice bar and restaurant.

“An excellent hotel in a great location”
This is an absolutely superb hotel. It is very centrally located in Cardiff with many bars and restuarants in the immediate vicinity and is only 10 minutes from the millenium Stadium. the hotel is spotless, with great food, a very nice bar area, very comfortable beds with courteous,helpful staff.
“Excellent for comfort and service.”
The service was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Our room though quite small, was extremely comfortable and pleasant and the bathroom was spotless with good quality toiletries supplied. The buffet breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and it was served until 11am with a 12 midday check out, so we didn't feel rushed. Despite building work going on across the road, we couldn't hear any noise. Would stay again and recommend it to anyone.

I've stayed at this hotel 3 times in total.Each time the hotel doesn't disappoint.It is central,once you've parked,you don't need the car until you're ready to leave.The hotel is of the highest standard.

“Excellent facilities in superb location!!”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Cardiff. We found both the staff and the hotel facilities were excellent. The reception staff were helpful and friendly, we were able to check in to our room early as it was ready, a bonus, and we were able to leave our bag on check out, to collect later. The room was clean, well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. We used the leisure facilities which were also clean, warm and towels were provided. It was our anniversary whilst we were there and we were left a card and some fruit from the staff, an unexpected nice touch. The hotel itself was ideally placed for the train station and right next to the St Davids shopping centre, making it easy to get around. A good choice was offerred for breakfast, though it could have been a bit hotter! We went to Jamie Olivers for a meal during our stay, would definately recommend!! All in all, we would definately stay there again and felt it represented excellent
“Great quality hotel at a good price”
My wife and I stayed here last saturday nite due to us attended Lee Evans at the CIA. The first impressions of the Marriot Cardiff are slightly blurred due to redevelopement work opposite the hotel, and could put some people off. But when you get inside, you are pleasantly reminded this is a 4* hotel. Rooms are ample, well furnished and fitted out with all the extras you could possibly need. I would especially comment about the beds, as the one we had was and absolute dream to sleep on, shame we couldn't get it into the suitcase! At night the hotel gets alittle busier - the night we stayed I think there was a school prom on or as like. The only down side we found at night was the noise and I guess if you were a light sleeper it could be a problem but with the nice bed we slept well. Breakfast was perfect, with a whole selection of things from fruit, cereal, continental and english breakfast (of course!) We couldn't fault it. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Marriot and we would use this hotel again if circumstances needed.
