Followed their instructions for arriving late with no problems. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was good. Easy walking to old city and rail station from hotel. Shutters on winows effectively kept out traffic noise and light.

The hotel room was pleasant (especially the black out blind), everything functioned well and the room was cleaned daily. Good price and wonderful location near some good places to eat!

A lovely guesthouse a short walk from the old city. Exceptional value for money, very comfortable and lots of character - you actually feel like you're in France. I would love to return and would strongly recommend it to others.

“A cheap and cheerful option”

A cheap and cheerful option within easy walking distance of the medieval city, the Bastide with its bars, cafes and restaurants and the railway station for getting out and about. Friendly owners and a decent breakfast for starting the day. Rooms were comfortable and very clean.

The hotel is 100 metres from the airport bus stop, 5 minutes (maximum) from the town centre and 15 minutes from the heart of the Cite. Despite this it was quietly located but with cafes close by. The reception etc staff were friendly and most helpful, room, breakfast all very good and good value. I could not fault it in any way, and I am quite hard to please.

This hotel had small rooms that were clean and very adequate. It was very reasonable and the staff tried hard to please. The situation is close to transport, laundry facilities and restaurants, internet cafe etc.

“Plain Jane Hotel”

For a one night stay the hotel was satisfactory. The room was an average size and the manager was very accommodating. Her english was very good so we received good advice on where to go and what to see. The only drawback was a 3 floor hike (10 foot floors) to our room with luggage ( there were 6 rooms required for our group. The breakfast was hard boiled eggs, ham slice, pastries, juice and coffee from a machine. For the Expedia price the hotel was a acceptable as long as you are aware of the drawbacks.

“Good, basic stopover hotel”

We needed to spend a night in Carcassonne en route to the Canal du Midi and a boat for the week. This was good, low budget accomodation. Madame spoke good english and was very helpful with advice about where to eat in the Citie, where to shop, buses to Trebes etc. The accomodation is basic but clean. Look for a rear room as the hotel is near a bar and the revels go on long into the night if it is Friday. A good basic stopover hotel for those on the move. Close to Citie - 10 mins walk and to the heart of Carcassonne town which has a smashing market.
