"The kiosk was interesting for a desk clerk. But there was no staff to make breakfast, so I asked if I could dig through the cabinets to get cereal or oatmeal. They said yes. The bedroom coffee machine had old water and bacteria in it. I didn't like this place."

"We had stayed there the last few years for an event, in the last year the place has gone downhill really badly. It appears that they quit doing maintenance to the place. The toilet in our room leaked water at the base/floor, we put towels around it to soak it up. Breakfast was a joke, the waffle batter had separated to a yellow sludge and water in the dispenser. It literally boiled when it hit the waffle maker and I spent 5 minutes picking crap bits of what was supposed to be a waffle out of it. The wife sad I shouldn't have bothered, but I don't like to leave any mess that I create. Motel staff standing there totally ignored us when telling other motel guests not to even try getting a waffle from it. I guess that we should have expected it to be bad experience since when we originally arrived d a police car was there with flashing lights on talking to people in the lobby."

"Cabin 1 was like being at summer camp. The cabin had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The best feature about the visit was the sandy beach and swim pond right behind the cabin. My family loved swimming and using the zip line! Mr. Tom was a very sweet host. The cabin was very close to many points of interest and the city."

Owl's Nest is a perfect getaway in the woods with lakes nearby. Pet friendly!

"We very much enjoyed our stay over the weekend. The house was spotless, and checkin was very easy.Bedrooms were roomy and the beds were all very comfortable. The fenced backyard was great for the pups to roam around and explore. There was treats and toys for the puts so they would enjoy their stay as well.Laura was very quick to respond to a question we had and that was very much appreciated. Only thing missing was the hot tub that was in description but not a big deal for us.Would definitely stay again."
