Great location. Convenient to the local bus route into Airlie. Rooms were clean and large and great location to the hotel itself Rio the dining options. Great hotel and very good price

Just barely okay for a night
Imagine a hotel that was built when Bowling alleys were all the rage. It has that almost a castle theme but not quite. Then imagine you never update that room again. This is where you’d be staying for the night. It wasn’t “dirty” but nothing, ever, had been updated and it shows. Everything just looks worn, from the tiles to the quilts to the carpet. Perfectly fine if you need to stop o we for the night but you wouldn’t want to do it much longer.

Its a short drive to Airlie Beach but the rooms are big, clean and value for money. We dined in the beer garden for 2 meals and enjoyed the food and atmospher.

Property is well maintained, staff were wonderful! One minor thing which i wouldnt really complain about was the fluctuating temperature in the showers didnt go to well on the sunburnt shoulders, but apart from that i was very content with my stay and will be staying again on future trips.

Staff were lovely. Cleanliness and condition of the rooms were disappointing. The floor was extremely dirty and needed a thorough vacuum and hard mop.

Staff were amazing and property was super clean. I couldn’t believe it was even serviced for the price we paid! Highly recommend this place. Obviously be aware that accommodation is at a pub though so it was a little noisy but it didn’t bother us and it wasn’t all night. Didn’t affect the kids sleeping!

The room was large & comfortable. Two double beds, the kids loved having a lot of space. Even though we only stayed the night, we had lunch at the restaurant/bistro.. was a surely delicious! Kids loved both of the play areas to choose from. Close walk to the room. Beds were comfy, and everything was nice and clean Will definitely be staying here again.
