staff is the best thing here....room very comfortable...don't worry if you get the train track side....no noise at all...again staff was as nice as you could want....highly recommend....

I found some stain on my bed and the railway track is just behind the hotel. Many trains all the night. We stayed only 2 night and it was my worst experience.

No longer a Ramada
This hotel is no longer a Ramada. It’s now called Canmore Inn and Suites. Fun water slide that kids seemed to enjoy and well-priced breakfast

The best thing about this hotel was the breakfast. The worst part about this hotel was train tracks right outside our window. The train would come charging through several times a day, often 2 or 3 times in the middle of the night. We didn't sleep well at all.

Great location. Hotel recently changed names: no longer Ramada, therefore not easy to locate. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Room was dated. Cleanliness was average. There were stains on the chair and the bed throws. Bathroom was small and awkward to navigate easily without bumping into the door or the toilet. Very limited shelf space. Breakfast was average American-style. Surprised there was no non-dairy milk as that is pretty much a standard at most hotels these days.

The hotel itself was great. We were just unfortunate to be there when a coach load of teenagers checked in who proceeded to run up and down the corridor very loudly and were making a lot of noise until midnight. Without them it would have been a great stay.

Railroad Hotel
Our hotel was next to Canada Pacific Railroad tracks, lots of noise? Turns out a lot of hotels are next to the railroad. If you closed the window, it was quieter but who wants stale air? The hotel staff was helpful and breakfast quite good. But.....book a hotel farther from the train tracks.

Expensive and disappointing!
Check in was slow as they only had 2 people working and there was a lot of peoples checking in. The check in desk is at the back of the facility where you park and then have to move again depending on where your room is located. Our room was in another facility so we had to move and then walk down a long corridor to get to our room as the elevator is only at one end of the long hall! The buffet breakfast was good but pricey!! In our room we had torn furniture!!

Nice place!
Our room was as promised, even though I felt that we had full size beds in room instead of the advertised Queen beds. The hotel is located close to amenities and city center. The staff at the front desk was great, check in, check out were a breeze!

Convenient hotel for activities in Banff and Lake Louise. Room was clean and functional for the little time we spent there. The mattress on one of the beds sunk a little in the middle. It was not a problem for us because there was only one person sleeping in that bed, but if two of us were going to share that bed we probably would have requested a different room. The front desk staff were very kind and efficient.

Comfortable clean hotel in Canmore
This hotel was well-maintained, comfortable rooms & beds, very clean. Great daily housekeeping service. Pool & hot tub were also clean and very enjoyable. Plenty of great restaurant options within easy walking distance.

We were very pleased when we arrived to find that we were given a room upgrade with our reservation. We were given queen size beds rather than the doubles we had booked. The room was a little small, but comfortable and clean. We were a little worried when our reservation said we had a railway view, but because of limited rooms anywhere in Carnmore at this price, we decided to book anyhow. As it turned out, it was not an issue at all because we didn't hear them.

I had to cancel the second night on my stay. The staff and Expedia were very helpful and accommodating in making that happen. As a service business owner my self, I need to commend Helen and Kaylee for assisting me. They made sure the customer got looked after, not all business treat the customer that fairly. That kind of service by both organizations wins customer Loyaty. I will stay at the Ramada ( or now called Canmore Inn and Suites) again. I thank Expedia for having a phone number and a real person to make exceptions possible. I am a loyal Expedia user too.

Loud all night long in the hallways. Doors slamming people yelling. Toilet kept running. My parents were in a room next to us and they had issues with their fridge making noise all night.
