Temptation Resort & Spa All Inclusive is located in the Cancún Hotel Zone, within 5 km (3 miles) of the Cancún Convention Center and downtown.

A health spa offers massage, body wraps and scrubs, Vichy showers, and hair and nail care (surcharges for all services). The spa includes one treatment room with a candle wall and a garden-view window with flowing water; women's and men's steam rooms; and a sauna. Seven outdoor spa tubs, a sports activity pool, and tour desk are on site. A complimentary fitness center is fully-equipped with cardio machines, a Universal gym, and free weights.
Four lobby computers provide high-speed Internet access (surcharges).

This all-inclusive Cancun resort offers 384 guestrooms in 10 three- and four-story buildings without elevators. Brightly-lit rooms are decorated in a contemporary style with traditional Mexican flare. Accommodations include a one king or two double beds, and allow space for up to three guests. All feature balconies or ground-floor terraces with garden or ocean views. Just a few amenities include a direct-dial telephone, individual climate control, and a variety of toiletries.

El Embarcadero – Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and buffet dinner daily. Dinner themes change nightly and include Mexican, Italian, Mediterranean, barbeque, Caribbean, Asian, and other International themes. Open daily from early morning until noon for breakfast, afternoons for lunch, and early- to late-evening for dinner.
Il Piacere – Gourmet Italian restaurant illuminated by candlelight and featuring sounds of a cascading wall water sculpture. Open evenings. Reservations required. Dress code: No sandals, tank tops, pool shorts. (Dress shorts acceptable.)

The Village Wok – Located at the edge of the beach with sweeping ocean views, this Asian-inspired restaurant serves à la carte Asian dishes. Indoor and outdoor seating are available. Reservations and dress code required. Open evenings.

Las Margaritas - Housed in a Mexican palapa. Serves Mexican-style foods. Open for continental breakfast, lunch, snacks, and a la carte dinners.
L'Alternative Bar - Air-conditioned, indoor sports bar offering two billiards tables, four big-screen, flat panel TVs, and a large dance floor. Open evenings past midnight.
Paty 'O Lounge - Outdoor lounge. Serves tapas entrees and drinks.

Three pools provide different ambiences. A 45.75-meter-long (50-yard) freeform activities pool features music, a swim-up bar, and four jetted sections. A 14.5-meter-square (16-yard-square) sports pool includes volleyball and basketball nets. Bordered by lawn and garden, a "quiet pool" arcs 55 meters (60 yards), includes three jetted sections, and features a swim-up bar. The resort's beach frontage extends 300 meters (328 yards) along the north, or bay, side of Cancún Island, where water remains calm in most weather.
As part of the All-Inclusive Plan, the resort supplies Hobie Cat sailboats, kayaks, and windsurfers. An independent operator at the resort rents personal watercraft, catamaran sailboats, and snorkeling gear as well as offers parasailing flights and scuba-diving excursions for surcharges.
An on-site spa offers a variety of body treatments, massages, facials, and waxing which utilize indigenous oils and lotions from Mexico. Four private treatment rooms and one couples treatment room; two large Jacuzzis with views of the garden; co-ed Swedish sauna; and male and female changing rooms equipped with lockers, bathrooms, steam rooms, and showers are additional included amenities. Guests also have access to tennis facilities at Blue Bay Cancun, the property's partner resort.

“So much fun!”
The staff are amazing at this hotel. Generally everyone is friendly, happy and eager to ensure that we had a great time while also keeping patrons safe. The food was much better this year. This is a great place for singles and couples alike but please read the hotel "theme" before you book here. This is not a place for the reserved or prudish person. If you are open-minded and like to have a good time then this will be your hotel forever.

let me tell you its all that!!! the food was outstanding the staff is so friendly and for all the reviews that said this place is horrible there nuts the only downfall to this resort is the beach all the reviews are correct its taken over by seaweed but you can go up to your waist but thats all thats wrong with this resort its a 5 star if you want party pool or if you want quiet pool you got it if you want greasy food or you want gourmet they got it i will be back
“2011 vacation”
great time
“After 7 trips it may be time for a change.”
We have been going here for twice a year for a while and we love it. We have developed a group that we travel with and become great friends, it's our second home. That said we may be going elsewhere. The entertainment has changed, the whole place has become more subdued. The composition of the guests have shifted away from a resort where couples go to enjoy themselves to one where single guys go to get drunk and obnoxious. Last week there was a group of 100 single guys from south america, that changes the feel of the place. Last march there were similar groups from Europe. We love this place and unless they change their marketing strategy/ booking policies we will miss it.
“Great Vacation will go back again”
This resort was very clean, any time you looked around they were cleaning. The food was excellent and the people were very friendly. I just got back 11-4-2011 and looking foward to going again very soon. I would def recommend this resort. It is really a fun place but, please do not be on the prudish side because you do see a lot of topless woman. But, that didnt bother me, I had so much fun

Had a great time only thing that I didnt like was the time share people wont leave us alone kept calling our room my husband finally told them if they wanted us to come back leave us alone seemed to work. The airport was just as bad just keep going toward exit dont stop and ask where your shuttle is its outside. But other then that had fun.
“Fun place to party”
Temptation is a fun place to party. It is adult oriented and fun but not too crazy. For us it was actually a bit too mild. The restaurants that require reservations are good, the buffet is OK but the pizza/beer place is exactly that. You can chose between different basic pizzas, a burger and a hot dog. Not bad if in need but better avoided. Activities are fun too. With free intro scuba lessons, kayak and sailing you can be busy during the day too. Jet Sky's and other activities are available next door for a fee. I found the Internet service to be poor in speed and expensive at $15 a day. I would return as a couple or even better with a few friends.
“Ready to book for next year a perfect get away for couples”
The hotel was great the food excellent and the hotel staff was the best people were respectful of each other if topless women don't bother you a great. Romantic get away five stars.
“Great Place for Couples”
Although there are a lot of single people here, they only add to the fun. One of few places left that lets you relax, have fun, and do what you like to do. You only have to party as far as you want to. Everyone is friendly. Food is plentiful, drinks are plentiful. They have a weird chair saving thing around the pool. In order to get a spot at the sexy pool you need to wake up before 6:00 A.M. and place a towl on the chair or tip staff to do it for you. Oh, and don't leave your towel for long or someone will steal it and you will be out $25.00. Not a classy place but clean, comfortable, easy and free. A great vacation for Americans who need to loosen up a little.
