This is possibly the worst motel I have stayed in. Do not stay there. Where to start? Judging by the owner's very expensive car, she is doing quite well for herself. Good luck to her for that. Problem is she seems to avoid putting any money into the motel, not just to update it, but also to attend to basic maintenance. The seeming stinginess extends so far as to no complimentary tea or coffee provided. No glasses or crockery, at least none I could find. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits is standard service, but not at Margeurita. You won't get any more than 10 minutes hot water. There is modern heating and cooling but the old appliances have been left in place where they decay. The garden is unkempt. The back fence is falling over. It is honestly like something from the 3rd world. I could not wait for morning to come and to leave. The motel is stuck in the 70s and has become decrepit. Please heed my advice. Do not stay there. Even if everywhere else is booked out do not stay there. Enjoy my photos!

The check in was ok the place was ok for the price , due to the fact I could not get on a flight back till 2pm and check out was at 10am I asked if was possible to get a late check out was willing to pay if needed they said no which I found that would of made no difference between a hour or 2 but checked out at 10am as they requested because the room needed to be cleaned for that night , wich I didn’t even sleep in the bed just layed on top was as same as I check in ..I checked out ,

I was greeted by a receptionist and escorted to my room, not just handed a key & left to find it myself. Very polite and efficient. The room was very clean & well presented. Older decor but in excellent condition. Quiet location. Value for money. Would recommend this property.

The owners of the property were very polite and could not do enough for you. I will definitely stay at the Margeurita Motel again. The room was very clean and the service was fantastic.

Graham's stay.
It was the third time that I have stayed here in the last 18 months andthe service has been excellent, rooms clean and tidy. I will stay there again when in Queanbeyan.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The facilities were excellent. It was nice to be able to make a cup of tea or coffee in a decent sized mug. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this motel.

Small, clean and nothing to write home about but we expected that. We did not expect to find a sign in the bathroom explaining that showers must be only 5-10min long and that the needs to be a minimum of 5 min wait before expecting any more hot water. Then when I went to shower both my friend and I only got 3-4mins before the water turned completely cold. We even waited 20mins between showers. This is totally unacceptable. We didnt even have time to wash my makeup off, and as I went first I still had soap on me when it went rapidly cold and I had to shower for 90 seconds in totally cold water. Really unimpressed.

We arrived at 1pm only to find the [place locked up like Fort Knox.. Even a man delivery man could not deliver his goods. I rang the after hours bell to no avail and the mobile phone number displayed on the window went to message bank so I left a message which was never answered. When I finally returned to t he motel at around 5pm I found it open and was able to access my room. On the receipt it shows that the Reception Office is closed between 11am and 2pm. This seems a strange time to close down your operation as it is a common time for people to come and book in.

This is a good low cost hotel/motel in Queanbeyan. It is suitable for anyone not wanting to pay inflated Canberra prices, and has a car to commute.
